jennibear
Recently I have come across a lot of newer players in recruit chat trying to join my team for T4 missions...I invite them not knowing they are new, I see their setup "mk1 braton, loki, lato" & i'm just like "oh great this again...". With no way to kick them out, I have to A: either ask them to leave or B:restart the key & re-invite everyone but that player. This always ends up terrible, because for one that new player is now &!$$ed at me for kicking them out, and now i feel like crap for having to kick them out. I have tried to play with new players before in T4 & it is just a struggle having to carry them through the matches... especially in survival when you have to constantly revive them. Or when you're in defense & they can't handle Vor, or anything after 5 waves. They just die all the time!!! Everytime I try to say in recruit chat, "rank 5 or above" or something people get all butt hurt & message me saying I'm stupid & what not because they want to join but can't, or they just lie. I just don't want to have to waste my T4 key or my time having to deal with it. These are my solutions: 1. Put the rank of all players next to their names. This way I can determine whether or not I feel like they are prepared enough to join my game. 2. Have a name search engine where you can look up all players & see how many frames they have, guns, rank ect. kind of like FFXI /see all name 3. Have a rank cap on keys, say T1-2 are rank 1+, T3 rank 3+ & T4 rank 4+. This would totally eliminate the problem of this happening, because i could be certain they are where they are supposed to be for T4. 4. Just give us a simple kick option for Key hosts, it would at least eliminate me having to re-invite everyone else. Edit: Vote system as suggested by Kayco38 Thread solutions: 1. (Posted by Momaw) Have a "mini profile" block show up on players that you hover over, hovering over their name for a second would show their rank and current loadout 2. (Posted by CapricaSix) I think letting everyone into some sort of a queue and having the host pick whomever he/she chooses from a list would be the best way DE would only have to let anyone "join" a squad with a certain command instead of making the host invite them, then those who have joined will have faded names unlike the real squad members until they're approved by the host, and the rest is auto-kicked when the mission starts after host is done picking squad members. [Personally this is my favorite idea, & this way they can't get mad & message you hate mail) Edited July 15, 2014 by jennibear

Heyrey
There have been many threads about this problem, and it always boils down to people abusing it. It may not be problem right now, but what about when Warframe gets so popular that we have eight year-olds joining the game all the time who don't have a sense of humor? What about when they host a game and then just kick everybody for the sheer fun of it? Edited July 15, 2014 by Heyrey

NICKTHECHAMP11
Your Key, your rules. They're just gonna have to respect that when you (kindly) tell them to leave the lobby.
vaugahn
I've only noticed this a couple times, but I agree with number 4. A /kick would be good to deal with unprepared players as well as the occasional troll you get.

vaugahn
Your Key, your rules. They're just gonna have to respect that when you (kindly) tell them to leave the lobby. I once had a guy join a T4S lobby at rank 1 with a default Excalibur/braton/lato/skana. He refused to leave and we had to restart the key, it would have been a lot easier to have a kick option. When it happens. that's why i put the kick option as the last one, Really hoping it's not the solution, but at this point anything to help keep them out of my keys i will take lol

Fire_Ashes
/kick would be abused. We, as a community should find a better solution along the lines of a /kick.

Kayco38
Agree a kick vote would be usefull for ppl who harass you in a game and you cant do anything ;just the 3player vote if he deserve a kick or not. The rank next to name would be ussefull too for this and many other reason (example: satisfied your curiosity ;P). Same for /see would be ussefull for know what have someone without having him in your friend list. but i dont agree with rank cap that would be annoyin for new player when they just want to play with they're friend but cant because of a level cap +1 for 1) +1 for 2) -1 for 3) (say on top) +1 for 4) with a vote system to prevent free kick from troll
jennibear
How? There's no reason to kick a productive teammate A lot of people think it's funny unfortunately =| they have no lives lol Sometimes they will wait til you're really far in a raid & such just to kick you out to have a laugh. Think about if you're 30 minutes in survival & bam kicked for no reason.
Synol
As someone else said it is your key, you should be able to kick people any time you like.

(PSN)Bobtm0
So long as the kick option doesn't extend beyond the lobby I'm on board with that. Some people will, out of a myriad of likely invalid reasons, kick people in the middle of a mission. Being kicked out of a lobby wastes no more than a minute of someone's time so that's not a problem. Let the host make the party they desire when it comes to invite/key missions. Till that happens though, my current suggestion would just be to stop reviving them all together when they join, literally never even revive them once. If they are allowed to crack their skulls on the concrete hard enough they'll probably stop trying to reach beyond the realm of their current capabilities. People will effectively get bored of spectating for half an hour at a time.
Kuestenjung
First, except of survival and defense there is no problem to take 1 or 2 low ranked players. Second, T4 is not meant to play with randoms.

[DE]Momaw
1. Put the rank of all players next to their names. We should be able to search profiles for random people, but doing so to screen people for your team is way too slow. 3.) No. Everything that can possibly be a player OPTION should be...a player option. 4.) Yes. I feel like a better solution to address 1 through 3 is to have the "mini profile" block show up on players that you hover over. So it wouldn't say their rank in every context their name appears in, but hovering over their name for a second would show their rank and current loadout like it does for people already in your lobby.
