Luxangel7
Recently when I go to the main warframe site and click on the banners for new things and updates, like the new warframe, or the new melee weapon, or the dogs(?), all I get is some weird interactive slide show with some sort of ship AI concept saying a blurb about someone abandoning him, and if I scroll down there are pictures I can't click on, that give no info, or short videos that are literally a few seconds long, and don't tell me anything either. Is this normal or is it something they're still working on? Can't they provide text updates along side the banners? To give us an option while they work on the "interactive" display thingy? Archeyef
Answer is no, it's not normal. But on U14 it is.
Micke799
What you see on these teasers is all we have gotten so far in terms of information(excluding Devstream tidbits). They are only teasers meant for us to get excited about the next update, I expect more information will come once the update is live. So to answer your question: Yes it is normal. Luxangel7
"is it normal that everything i click on is a teaser" You know bro, a teaser site, well, is meant to show teasers..... Nowhere does it make it clear that it's a "teaser site". I've been following those main web site banner news updates for a hell of a long time, and I've never seen them like that. Not all of us have the time to constantly follow all the devstreams or read up on every detail. I mean it's not like it makes much more marketing sense to make things clear for people clicking on things without expecting them to research what they're clicking, right? Right. What you see on these teasers is all we have gotten so far in terms of information(excluding Devstream tidbits). They are only teasers meant for us to get excited about the next update, I expect more information will come once the update is live. So to answer your question: Yes it is normal. Thanks. Son, that's the hype site. The U14 hype site, updated daily with exciting crap. You makey me sad. I'm not your son. And there's nothing to make you sad. It's not explained, it's linked from a banner section that is usually reserved for news and update info, and as I explained above, it makes no sense to present those teasers like that without any context. There isn't even any "Update 14" or any text even remotely indicating what it's all about. The only thing here that is sad is your response that ignores all that and instead focuses on me not being constantly up to date. Seriously... Look at it this way, I don't know about you but this is the first thread I've seen since the site has gone up that has complained about needing some sort of context for the teaser site in order for it to make sense. Maybe you should look at it this way instead, I'm not complaining, I didn't know what I was looking at, since, as I mentioned, there is zero context explaining what the hell you're looking at, and I cam here to ask. And believe me when I say that just because this is the first time you have seen someone question it, that does not mean it's implemented well. That is extremely fallacious logic.
