A Buff For Dual Ether Please

Back before melee 2.0 these were one of the best weapons because of serrated dmg, didn t use them all the time but they had this special feeling (& the outlook of the weapon is splendid)

Now they don t compare in any way with the new weapons, dual heat have the fire effect & better damage, nami skyla have way better damage

I d like to get this special feeling back, not an armor-ignoring effect (would be OP under new system), but at least something, i don t know what...

Btw, shouldn t also these get radiation dmg on slam attacks? single ether sword does, doesn t seem logical they don t

Oh yes and please buff the Scindo so that it could be the best melee weapon as it used to be *o*

Please buff the Zoren's attack speed to 1.7 to make it the best coptering weapon again *0*

please pleeeeese buff my Hek the game was so funny when it was a top tier weapon :D

omgg bring back overheat, Ember really need to be a tank
...

Nope, The game evolves, new and better weapons are coming, deal with it. If you like dual weapons, get a Nami Scyla and dash slice everything you meet.

In my opinion, if there is a sadly bad weapon which needs a bit of love, it is the Spectra. The reste is fine as it is

I disagree.

Weapons still need to be balanced according to their ranks of obtaining them. They're only outdone because, like economic inflation, we're slowly being drawn into higher damage weapons, since DE wants to keep their newer weapons competitive and attractive.

That being said, I have no problems with one weapon being absolutely stronger than another; The prime consideration is when you get it. Depending on your mastery rank, you obtain certain weapons, right? Well, those weapons should still be appropriately tweaked to the power range of that Mastery Rank's weapons.

I cite Notionphil's Balance 2.0 thread for a well-made argument: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/233948-balance-20-the-cost-of-power/

When a new player comes, he'll see everything there is. If you make one or two weapons among hundreds the most powerful by a fair margin, then it's almost certain that players will never play the other weapons, and that would be a waste. Many weapons are excellent in terms of design, they just fail in terms of numbers.

It should never be the case.

Warframe is a game of choice: A choice between two powerful weapons, which cater to different styles of play, and not a choice between "Do I want to be powerful, or get a gun I like but gib myself?"

Don't leave it as it is simply because it is the way things are now. If I had to make a change, I'd even out all weapons according to their mastery rank. Leave no weapon behind... until you've surpassed that Mastery Rank, that is.

Dual Ethers are a great looking and fun to use weapon.

I used to use them all the time back in the day but currently there is no reason to use them outside of mastery points.

A bit of a buff would be super!

Good post, man. Agreed.

This is not what i was asking about, your argument is beside the point

Did i say: "make it the most powerful weapon"?

don't think so: my point was that weapon before melee 2.0 had a character, you could love it or find it OP but it was special in a way.

The changes made now have made it just another bladed weapon, with no special "thing" as before

Plus it's not because DEs give us new weapons every week or so (bless 'em btw for that) that older ones from before last updates must stay stuck by the wayside, which was what i was asking about

I'm sure i m not the only one who find some of his favorite content in this game became obsolete because of systems changes.

I just would like some things reworked, not to make it the best of the best but to give it another little edge to make it special again though in a different way than before
