Does Split Chamber Work With Dread?

Question

Lately, I have equipped a FORMA on my Dread so that Split Chamber may be able to fit into it. Of course, I maxed mines out so now SPlit Chamber is 90% Multishot. When equipped, I noticed that it rose my Dread Slash Damage all the way to 700. Since it's multishot, I expected that there would be more arrows fired at once more like a shotgun. I equipped it but no change other than killing enemies quicker(Maybe because of Serration). I only see one arrow fired instead of multiples, so I'm not sure.

This if kind of off topic but oh well...

Your dread is really weak. In my opinion. I'm a noob though. In warframee builder I can get it to 1k+/hit. Point Strike Rank 3 = 100% crit chance + crit damage mods so every shot is *4.4, reach new heights! I wonder if I can drop something and give it multi shot, might need to put a forma on it though...

I saw the difference, but it's strange. Without Split Chamber before I FORMAed it, it reached 5,000 damage per bolt. Now with Split CHamber, it does hit twice at the same but they're at below 2000 Damage and I even equipped the mods I had back before I FORMAed it. Does Rank of Weapon affect Critical Damage?

Osiatoz, my Dread is NOT weak because mines is 5.6 befor FORMAed with SPlit Chamber

Multishot affects every ranged weapon. It is a % chance to fire mutiple projectiles. From 1-100% chance, you always fire one projectile and may fire one extra projectile. From 101-200% chance, you always fire two projectiles and may fire one extra projectile. Etc.

Accurate weapons will fire that second projectile (and third if applicable) in the same path as the first making it unnoticeable in flight, but when it hits an enemy you will see twice (or thrice if applicable) the amount of damage numbers come up effectively dealing double (or triple if applicable) damage.
