Matiny
For some reason, certain characters and planets appear all black on my computer. The planets used to all show the textures, now they're black. Some characters appear black in the Codex, some don't. http://imgur.com/a/fHIl7#
PsychedelicSnake
Did you switch off dynamic lighting? That may be what is effecting the Codex parts.

CaptainJohnson
I'm not sure about the issue with the planets, but I believe the Codex is supposed to be like that. I recently began scanning enemies for it, and have noticed that the bosses show up as silhouettes and assumed that this was intentional- ie: to make the bosses look more imposing. In regards to the planet textures, I believe I have the same problem and have used min settings for lighting and whatnot for a while now so it's probably the same for you. Not a big deal. Pacheon
Happens randomly on some Void maps (where I actually notice them mostly). Grey to black environment tilesets like gates, walls, ground layers, etc. No clue what causes this issue. Every single option is "On" and maxed. Dx11 etc.
Matiny
@CaptainJohnson Not what I meant. I wanted to see the warframes in the codex, since I'm going to draw some porn with it. Anyways, the issue was with dynamic lighting.
CyklonDX
textures appearing black/white is a problem with bump mapping (pixel/vertex shader) - if this is something that just happened was not before - please restart pc to clear up memory on your gpu (should help) updating drivers might solve gpu memory leaks if present. lower your graphics settings. Methredhel
@CyklonDX Yes. Yet if you switch off Dynamic Lighting, the Tennos/Whatever in the Codex ARE black. It's just because the Dynamic Lighting is turned off. Doesn't intentionally mean it's a problem with textures.
