Infested Defense Is Really Hard Now

I don't know if this was intentional or not but running high level infested defenses is really hard to near impossible with all the powers the Ancients now have. On Sechura at wave 9 about 6+ Ancients managed to group up at the pod by the end of the wave and were impossible to kill. They were all close to each other so they were getting armor buffs and heals that appeared to stack. Its was literally impossible for me to kill them because I was hitting 80 dps with my heavily modded Ignis while they were all healing exponentially faster. It was also impossible to use my ability due to the disrupter auras. Now I'm not posting this to complain about an infested buff because they are a tad boring and really easy to kill but I don't think this invincibility scenario was what DE had in mind with the ancient abilities. I'd also like to point out that with the increase in difficulty there also seems to have been a drop in XP which just seems like overkill. Perhaps make it so the buffs don't stack (if they even do) or not as powerful or something because infested defense is now nearly impossibly hard. And it's not even hard In a way that's fun, I'd much rather have more challenging enemies then having to race to kill all the ancients as fast as possible so they cant form an invincible clusterfuck at the pod.

yah I was on the venus dark sector def with my 5 formad max modded penta and some of the infested were able to tank the shots of it. also the stupid runners are unstoppable now, if you kill them they explode and hurt your sentinel and can still hit the pod. Also because they explode no matter what now you can't desecrate them so on survival it is a pain because a lot of the enemies are runners so that is a lot less life support drops.

I didn't even think about desecrate on them. Perhaps if you melee they shouldn't explode?  It would be nice if some enemies dropped health orbs in defense missions since we have multiple enemies that  directly effect life now?

Pretty sure the XP thing is a bug, as I saw a couple other threads talking about how Eximus only give the standard kill xp, not the 4x xp they should be.

I would agree that the buffs should not stack. However, I believe the thing you were having serious difficulty with was if there was more than 1 Healing Ancient and you were using an AOE weapon...

Ancients now link to nearby allies and gain health while they take damage. If you're hitting 3 ancient healers at the same time with the ignis, doing 80 dps, they're gaining health (up to 150% their normal).
