U14: "navigation" Glow? (The Blue Glow)

Since U14, all players have been enclosed within a blue glow while in missions. Ive heard it described as a "navigation" feature by other players, and quite frankly, I would like an option added to disable it. The glowing is obnoxiously bright, to the point where it actually stings my eyes to directly look at it, when no other glow/bloom/light effect does. Its also buggy, another reason I want the option to have it disabled. According to other players, the glowing is only meant to appear when players are behind walls, however the glowing is present all the time, as shown in the screenshot below (Observe the Loki player). Not to mention as well, its just not aesthetically pleasing, its an immersion break. When im in a dark, ambient lit corridor, waiting for an Infested to jump out at me, its a bit of a mood kill to see a big beacon in the shape of a Warframe skuttering across the map, 500 meters into the distance.

 

 

 

If anyone reads this who is in contact with the Art/Animation team, can somebody pass the suggestion on to them? Please add an option to disable it. Thanks very much.

 

EDIT: Also, can somebody make sure DE knows about this before the hotfix, so an option can be added to turn it off for when the hotfix goes live. I would contact them myself because this is a huge, huge issue in U14 for me, but I don't know how I would contact them myself.

Hotfix is out, no option to turn it off. Nice.

 

EDIT: I find it ironic that this gets no attention, but the Gore on/off function was suggested by a thread laced with insults and crude language and it got put into the game nearly immediately.
