Lothlaine
So, is it just me, or did DE add surface friction for sliding with the most recent update? Or has that been around longer. Because I definitely did not used to be able to keep going pretty much indefinitely on venus ice.

RespectTheInternet
If you are sliding indefinitely, then you obviously mean that the sliding friction is gone, not added.

Surface friction bound to objects. We had a slow down effect that was based on the slope of a surface, but no surface friction added into that mix. Lothlaine
If you are sliding indefinitely, then you obviously mean that the sliding friction is gone, not added. Note the pretty much, I did slow down on the relatively flat areas of the ice, but if I hit a dip I regained speed ergo 'pretty much' indefinitely As opposed to before when regardless of what I was on I would slow down at essentially the same rate.
