Dancingfirefly
Aquari Role: Tank/Support Unique Mechanic: Several of Aquari's abilities create 'water globule' items which may be absorbed by an Aquari warframe to restore health. Water globules persist for 20 seconds after creation and can be picked up by any Aquari. The duration of a globule's existance can be extended by a Power Duration mod. Health: 150 (Strong progression) Shields: 75 (Poor progression) Armor: 150 Power: 100 (Max 150) 1 - Aquagrasp 25 power The Aquari ejects a portion of her body outward which immediately latches onto her target and grabs them. The target is unable to attack for 2/3/4/5 seconds. When this effect wanes or if the target dies before it's over, the watery grasp will dissolve and leave a globule that Aquari can pick up for 4/8/16/32 health. Bosses are not restricted by this effect, but their attack speed is slowed. Benefits from: Power Duration (Restriction), Power Strength (Healing), Power Duration (Globule duration) 2 - Chokehold 25 power The Aquari ejects a portion of her body which immediately wraps around her target's head or other vulnerabilities. The globule of water will suffocate the target for 15/30/50/80 damage per second for 3 seconds. This effect penetrates shields. If the target dies, or when the effect ends, the water dissolves into a globule on the ground which can be absorbed by the Aquari for 4/8/16/32 health. Benefits from: Power Strength (Damage, healing), Power Duration (Globule duration) 3 - Slippery Slope 50 power The Aquari ejects a large portion of her body at her feet which takes shape of a pool of water. The ground around her becomes slippery, causing enemies to slip and slide and be unable to act if they remain inside the pool. The pool lasts 5 seconds, and if an Aquari is inside the pool when the effect ends she regains 10/20/40/80 health. Bosses do not slip while inside this pool but their movement speed is slowed. The pool is large enough to cover a chokepoint such as the interior of a pipe, etc. Benefits from: Power Duration (Pool), Power Strength (Healing) Note: Extending the duration of the pool will also delay the healing component 4 - Tidal Wave 100 power The Aquari dissolves completely into a large body of water, then reforms once more. She pulls all nearby enemies into her, crushing them beneath the waves and dealing 50/100/150/200 damage to them all as she reforms. This surge of water also restores 80/160/220/300 health to the Aquari. Benefits from: Power Range (AoE), Power Strength (Damage, Healing) -Bio- The Aquari warframe has the remarkable ability of transforming the Tenno into water so long as this suit is worn. The Tenno gains remarkable physical durability as a result and also is capable of performing potent control to support and protect their companions. The Aquari's strengths are her ability to regain health through absorbing the watery masses she expels to control and destroy the enemy. She is physically extremely durable due to composing of water. She is a quicker tank type warframe allowing a strong mix of durability and mobility. The Aquari's weaknesses are in her weak shield. No normal forcefield can reasonably function with her state of existance. The Tenno struggled to develop the meekest of energy protection for the Aquari. Thus, she will have to rely heavily on dense armor and self healing capabilities to maintain her strengths as her forcefields are not to be relied on. An Aquari has to manage her power carefully to ensure the most efficient self healing, and if caught without power she will be unable to maintain her base form and she'll quickly be overwhelmed. Suggestions Aquari can be made into either an especially potent control tank through emphasis on power efficiency, or can be built into a more sturdy meatshield through building up on her armor and health reserves. A tankier Aquari will have more efficient self healing and can stick her neck out a bit more often to protect her allies, but may find herself into a bad situation if her power is low. On the other hand, a power efficient Aquari will be able to replace health more frequently but will not be able to survive a heavy barrage of fire for very long. The best Aquari would rely on tactical placement of her abilities to restore what health may be lost while taking advantage of cover, or destroying weaker enemies. A power recovery artifact will allow Aquari to sustain herself more easily with power use. A revitalize artifact will allow Aquari to regain health slowly even when away from combat.
