Find A Kubrow Egg In Feral Kubrow Dens...

...and DE doesn't place an egg in the mission.  And completely blocks the node where a catalyst alert is/was.  Well played.

Doesn't this sort of... defeat the entire purpose behind the quest?  Why even bother with locking that mode with the quest?

The previous legs of the quest had certain guaranteed rewards/drops to keep an ongoing sense of progression, reward the player, and form a sort of narrative flow.  This leg seems to be either broken, or relies on an RNG based super rare drop that after running the mission many times, hasn't shown up for me.  And what I've heard, buying an egg from the market breaks the quest.

A suggestion: make the quest leg on E Prime guarantee an egg drop.  If one isn't picked up, then just award one to the player as a one time reward.

If you're supposed to run the same node a hundred times to get this drop... well... then let's face it, this is a really lame quest.  Would be better to just replace it with a static tutorial in the codex instead of this broken quest.

As it stands now, I and many others would prefer to just cancel the quest.

i think this is a great way to introduce to new players the way DE usually releases their coolest content, behind rock solid rng walls. that way new players understand that if they want any of the cool stuff without wasting their lives away they are gonna be spending loads of money. hurray for previews!!

I definitely agree with a first-run guaranteed quest egg; I didn't need to run a hundred missions to get an egg, but I found that it pretty much killed my enthusiasm to discover that I would have to run through the same bland, boring "Oh, kill those guys. Yeah? Cool." mission over and over just to have other hurdles to clear in order to finally get to actually experience this new thing that I was actually looking forward to.

Can people buy eggs? Sure. But, for some people (certainly for myself), Warframe might've gotten more money than literally any other game they've ever played, and just not be worth giving more to, at this point. I'm not buying more platinum, I don't care how much grinding I have to do in order not to - well, I do, but only insofar as I simply won't play if it gets to be too much.
