How To Fix Evolution Engine Crashes? Please Help

Question

Before I start, my computer is perfectly fine. There are no hardware or software issues with it. Everything in my computer is up-to-date including Nvidia graphic drivers.

Anyways, the problem is, Update 14 hotfixes seem to have increased Evolution Engine crashes. When I updated the game to Update 14 on Friday, it worked perfectly fine. After the hotfixes, Evolution Engine crashes have started again. I already made a topic on this, but apparently it was ignored. Here is the link https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/266306-recent-hotfix-causing-game-to-crash-upon-entering-ship/

Any ideas on what to do before contacting support again with this problem. By the way, the graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 660. (I thought this game was supposed to work with Nvidia cards)

Side note: When opening dxdiag and checking display, it says my current display mode is 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz). I have been running this game in 64 bit because my operating system is Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64-bit.

Any suggestions?

How about try to run in 32 bit mode?

I having some crash too in 64 bit mode, then change it to 32 bit mode and it seems run fine, no crash.

So you had similar issues then? All the options when starting the game are on in the game launcher.

This has been happening for some months now. At some point it just fixes itself. At others, it starts all over again. Only Warframe acts up like this. My computer has enough memory and it doesn't have memory leaks. Warframe seems to trigger something when running. And apparently, people with certain setups experience these issues.

I am curious under what conditions does DE test their game.

You know what this sounds like is exactly what happens if you have TeamViewer open when you start the game, I had the same problem but it was because I had TeamViewer running, closing that stopped this, do you use TV or any kind of VPN software?

The problem in a nut-shell is PhysX. Disable that then you should not have any other issues.

Edit:

You are confusing 32 bit color depth which is completely different from 64 bit computing.

I don't have PhysX enabled.

I will check that and see. Although I am sure when I installed Windows 8.1 after having Windows 7 that I did not include TeamViewer.

the 32-bit for your monitor just describes colour depth.

Is your AV software running in the background?

The next time it crashes, send your EE.log to support https://digitalextremes.zendesk.com/hc/en-us, It will be in your Warframe directory:

I believe Warframe defaults to; C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\Local\Warframe

DON'T post your EE.log here!

I don't have Team Viewer or anything like it on my computer. I contacted support. Hopefully I can get this solved. If not, well it has been fun playing this game while it lasted. Seems like this update really boosted the crashes which started after update 11 or 12. They used to fix themselves until update 14.

Running everything maxed out, no problems - windows 8.1 as well. No problems or crashes whatsoever... Hmm :/

Could it possibly be my card is dying or something and these crashes happen when running 3-D applications or games? Other games that I have especially with discs work fine although once in a while a crash might happen.

I was looking through the options in game and noticed that the game was registering that i had a controller attached to the game )was trying to use vibration function as well as other controller functions) i also noticed my system was not set to desktop but to something else, as well as it was registering i had a mic when i did not, so i changed both of those things as well and my game seems to be running just fine at this point :)
