Disable Jumping In The Liset, It Is Funny...but Useless

Hya ^^

 

I was waiting for some people to join my squad / I had some time and thought :

"i wonder if i can jump inside my ship..."

 

2sec later: "yayy I can jump \(^-^)/ ...I wonder if I can roll-jump..." (sprint+duck+jump)

2sec later: " ...well...I can roll-jump (<.<) ...just...why?" (._. )

 

The problem is: I just get stuck in mid-air everywhere almost everytime.

The easiest solution for this Problem is :

 

Disable jumping inside the Liset.

We dont need it. You at DE dont have to deal with weird colliding. Everyone wins :3

Honestly, if i cant jump in warframe anywhere that i can actually walk around, i feel cramped. It makes it feel too much like mass effect to me. (great games, the movement is horrid)

 

Yes, feeling cramped in a game is weird.  But there it is.

You should be able to unstuck yourself quite easily by teleporting to one of the utilities from the ESC menu anyway.

All he has to do is not jump in the ship.

Although I agree that it's useless, disabling it sounds like a pointless thing to do. If you don't want to jump in the Liset, simply don't jump...I jump all over the Liset while talking with guildies/friends/traders. It serves no purpose at all but that doesn't mean it should go.

...A other example how senseless the answer "well if this is broken then just dont do it" is:

 

Balancing of a Weapon. "If a Weapon does not work like it should then just dont use it"  ...sounds weird...it does not solve the real Problem, it just ignores the fact that something does not function correctly. <.<

if i see a possibility to do something in this game, i try it out. And if I find out that this feels kinda weird to do, i report it.

If i should not jump in the ship they should disable this function  (like i said: the easiest solution.)

I did not say it was the best solution.

I said it was the easiest. Of course i agree: we should not get limited in our overall movements.

But if the only thing that happens is a bug, it is not really of any good use.

It is funny , yes, but it damages the feeling of being a "normal" Tenno being ( i know, it would also damage that feeling if we could not jump, but it is a smaller step if you can compare it to never ending floating in mid-air :3 )

I jump around all the time, really handy for getting straight from arsenal to nav without using the esc menu. Never once been stuck though.

mhh maybe it is just me then? i get stuck almost everytime i jump and thats the reason why i find it weird :S
