Hi And Bye Really..

I just wanted to say I really like this game, I love the graphics and the design, the fact is even with help from a clan I've been playing a week or two now, and I still am getting hammered left and right unless in squads where it permits max level toons vs my low level and as such I am left lost on map as they ZOOM off into the distance like a Xmas horde of mothers during the seasonal rush.

I really wanted to get into this game but playing Mercury over and over and over due to getting nailed to a wall and plastered is kinda boring, perhaps  I suck perhaps I am missing something but it's got to the point where what little free time I have I want to RELAX while gaming, not rushing to catch up or being utterly owned by Grinear heavy troopers while I throw my best at them.

I played EvE Online for better part of five years, but I was effective from only a week into the game, on here I am stuck to just Mercury and the odd Venus mission, and the grind seems to be overwhelming.

So best of luck for Warframe but I'm out.

Cya.

I was in the same shoes with you last year. There was little to none explanation how things work, I believe things are much better now with DE new approach. I came back after a year and love the game til now. Hope warframe will grab your interest in the future

Well, basically the peeps that rush off tend to have played the game...a...lot. So they don't care about a new player taking in the view, they might just be leveling a frame, or after the prize. I've come across this many times, don't like it much.

Best bet, do a posting here looking for some players. Might help. No need to leave the game due to the rush of players, you can probably find somebody who'd be interested in playing at a slower pace and sticking together as a team.

Options: If you want to build some levels/find some mods. Consider playing in a defense. The players can't leave you there, basically each should have a common goal.

Sounds like you perhaps need to find other people to squad with.  Perhaps if you were to look into joining up with folk who aren't so much into speedruns then you'd get a better feel for the maps & how they flow while leveling up & not being so squishy.

Well, might find somebody that isn't UK based to play with too. Head on into the recruitment area, or start a post that you're looking for more relaxed players :)

The speed runs are bad enough, but for me it's knowing there's 3 players waiting at the end and my time is ticking since I have missed the way out of a spot.

Play with me. I'm not a rusher and usually play with newbies to chillax and run slow. With nerfed gear and usually just pure support frames to just help out. If you really are set on leaving. I can't stop you but...

well. I'm going to guilt trip you into playing it again.

You see this Kubrow... this one here.

He's awfully lonely without a companion... His dad was brutally killed in a rather unfortunate circumstance...

What I'm basically saying is. He'll die of loneliness without another companion to play with.

LOL!, no idea how to catch one of those... if you want you can add me in-game.

Will do.

edit:

Sent you a friend request ingame.

I should be on a lot since it's summer. If you need anything ingame or want to have some fun

I know a few things that are pretty awesome to do.

If you ever want a player who's decently ahead in the game but will still wait for you, look me up. Also, I really don't mean that comment to come off wrong, it's just there's no other real way to say it. And to be honest about the whole grind thing? Not every game is made for everyone, and at least you gave it a try.

Sutherland, that is admirable. When I joined this game I remember replaying Mercury over and over, but in my case it was a personal decision. I wanted to play solo. Looking at the starting areas now, they are a lot harder than they used to be, the number of enemies and their respawn timers are out of control. Were I just starting to play this game like I did over a year ago I would most definitely quit.

Good to see some veterans extending a hand to newer players, perhaps if the game encouraged this kind of actions we could reduce the amount of new players that quit and end up resenting the whole experience =/

Welcome Kierax, hope you manage to enjoy your time in the game.

Completely agree!

I think ever since the introduction of the arc traps and earth this game has only been getting harder.

I can see that the new tutorial will guide players through the experience more than it did in the past however there are still many things in the game to learn. I'm willing to teach new players. If they're willing to listen.

Which they always are; and I always take things slowly showing them a neat trick here and there.

Unfortunately last night me and Kierax didn't have much luck joining a session together. If anybody else gets the chance of seeing him ingame please be sure to show him a good time in my sted.

I for one really loved this game pre U14. 800 hrs. Spent real world money on this game. But since U14 everything just went for a ball of sh1t.

Problems, issues, that should be sorted immediately, aren't.

ODD randomly disconnects you ( Pre U14 this NEVER happened. Other gamers complaining about it too, I asked around ).

Chat interface randomly locks up. You have to quit the game & log back in.

Foundry UI is really IN YOUR FACE when you scroll through the available parts / weapons etc you can craft. ( Could the devs maybe make the tiles a bit bigger? Them taking up my ENTIRE 23" screen isn't big enough ).

Dark Sectors don't award the bonuses / credits like they used to. ( Do 5 waves and quit, standard strat, awards 2k odd credits less ). It's only 2k credits you noob what you complaining about? Mmm.... When you do 50 or more dark sector missions daily it kinda adds up.

Gamers getting kicked out of squad after a mission is done. They then have to re-join. ( Really how hard can it be to rectify this? )

Erm, boosters now cost 80p instead of 40p? ( I was told they still 40p for 3 days, yet the "cost tip" still shows 80p? )

There are more but these are the most important to me.

Yes the game is in BETA. Yes U14 is a huge update with bugs.

But really, removing those flying infested creeps from ODD as a hotfix? Why did you even put them back there since U14 in the first place?

A problem should never need to be solved twice.

I know 99% don't give a crap if I leave. I know DE don't care.

But at least I'll sleep better at night knowing I'm spending my free time on a different game that actually works.

This game is awesome. It really is. A real shame they fcked it up with U14's constant constant bugs.

Maybe in a  couple of months I'll return, but for now there's no way in hell I'm wasting my time on sh1t that doesn't work.

I wish you all the best.

Sir you just about pretty much nailed it for me also.

Three hours I was trying to link with my clan leader THREE DE THREE @(*()$ HOURS GODDAMIT in the dojo to send me items to boost my warframe. it's digusting we could not!!! then we tried to play Void Survival to get me items and XP, nope CONSTANT drops CONSTANT chat locking up.

This U14 is not fit  for closed in-house ALPHA testing let along even CONSIDERING closed BETA testing, putting it public is akin to Microsoft trying to say Windows ME was not a cockup.

DE, new players are LEAVING YOUR GAME, listen to the complaints and DO something.

Finally, Tennos who likes to not rush throughout the game.  Thank you Tenno, for reminding me that I'm not alone.  I also love to explore the map, and play the missions as if your in a movie (those cutscenes in game helps), and not not blitz right through like some kind of badass. Static*

Yo, just sayin' HI and all that.

I hate rushing, but sometimes I do it myself just to help people out, ya know, get through the mission without collecting whatever.

You might see me online, I'm always there. Invite me if you feel like chillin' on the ice :D

Void missions are great for doing that. I really enjoy seeking out and getting through the hidden obstacle/parkour courses.
