LichAlfred
I really enjoyed 14th update, bringing nice ship, really cool, Mirage, an uber-dps nice looking frame, stylish UI and stuff. Great work from DE artists and design. BUT! The amount of bugs, glitches, crashes this time was beyound reason, EVERY aspect of the game was close to unplayable. Especially Kubrows - which consume a helluva plat to build and time to grow! They instadie, breeding from two IDENTICAL patterns gives you basically random result - I submitted a ticket to no avail!, changing kubrows takes platinum again, and you cant sell a kubrow if you are not satisfied with the breed. There is no way to see the type of kubrow you trade or have in stasis! And much more like horrible AI and weak damage even with maul and bite mods. Day one you redeem players who lost kurbows generously, day two - you take away the scamble feature (not discussing whether it was good or not) and dont give players that had a breed bug a thing... I am really dissapointed with patch and despite great, REALLY GREAT features it gave us (I love the game a lot), the aftertaste is bitter and the I feel just drained. The "beta" tag of the game has to go - DE, you charge MONEY for services (for example I wasted ~200p on kurbows to no avail due to bug). Either choose to have that coward "beta" tag and dont have paid services or face the reality. Ohnestly, what is the whole reason to call the game beta? There IS no court that could charge you for anything, neither Obama with bomb you with the nukes for going release. Very, very dissapointed. The game quality control just turned to be non-existent and the horrible quality of the new content along with the rush measures puts the whole idea of the game development under question for me. Warframe was always utterly buggy, but two more patches like these and I will have to quit the game despite I love it. Good luck, DE Edited July 22, 2014 by LichAlfred
Kyrinova
I completely agree. I feel this update was unfinished and prematurely released for whatever reason. Another good week would have addressed a lot of issues and the Kubrows while exciting at first died down in the first hour for me. (So expensive and all of them white from what I've seen personally). The scramble feature also did almost nothing visually to mine and I instantly regret every bit of platinum I put into the Kubrows. What the poster and everyone feels from what I can gather is: "Content is good on the outside, search even a little bit inside and its not so much". vaugahn
DE can't afford to hire testers, so they run an open beta. They have to monetize it to pay for production. If you're looking for a finished, non-buggy game I don't think this is the one for you.

I have been waiting for DE to remove that Beta tag for just this reason for a long time.
kebra
I totally agree with your sentiment here, a third of my clan has left because of bugs making he game unplayable for them in most cases, I fear for the future...

Especially given the very nice and devoted WF community even I would like to help them out to release bug-free product. 5-10 players wil be enough for the start and I KNOW there will be a competition to become one. Addititonally, there are not only "buggy as hell" and "bug-free and absolutely polished" games. The world is not back and white. The are games with "reasonable amont of bugs", whcih WF can easily become. Edited July 22, 2014 by LichAlfred

This is sadly how the open beta business model works. They ship a product with limited testing, and their playerbase is very quickly able to identify a large amount of bugs which can then be fixed. LichAlfred
Indeed, the more frustrating is the bugs are onvious and quickly fixable. I am not speaking here about things like the possible flaws of graphics engine, complex synchronization of parties or metagame balance issues. Its all about extremely surface and primitive bugs which make the game unplayable.
