Twilight053
It was really challenging and fun. And for once, our slow Nova succumbed to death. Thank you, DE. Hope you'll make even more fun bosses.
blink8888
Same thing here!Just run some ODA for Eleventh Storm stance, and Lephantis boss fight is getting more challenging now, this is how DE should do the boss fight lol
so_many_watermelons
No. There's a difference between a good, hard boss and a behemoth of a tank that reduces all damage down to null because all the players brought in lvl 30 warframes, hence cranking up the boss's level over 60. Anything over 60 should stay on a dang Defense or Survival mission.
frudi
Really, he's not any tougher, he's just a bigger bullet sponge now, drawing the battle out longer. It gets particularly annoying when soloing or running a two person squad, where the fight basically turns into a game of ammo management (unless you bring ammo mutation and scavenger). -.Will.-
Well... I don't really like it. I haven't done it yet but the rewards don't seem very good for 30m+ of killing.
Shin
I had a 75 lvl Lephantis on my solo run. With my Boltor prime i was dealing 19 damage mind you my boltor is complate and after that i tried my lvl 9 akzani. It dealt 19 damage aswell infact since it was dealing crits, it was better than boltor prime. So you call that fun? Im sorry but that things armor values are clearly broken. If its possible, i'd like not to waste a huge chunk of time to a common boss only to get a couple of soul punch mods.

Twilight053
Sigh, people still uses Boltor Prime? My Mirage + Dread did the trick. Edited July 23, 2014 by Twilight053
Gigaus
First, I really hope OP is trolling, because this is actually turning into a problem on some other bosses. Having farm these two dimensional bosses for frame parts and praying to RNJesus was bad enough, but now bringing more players with actual gear above Braton Mk1 to help our new guildies makes most of these bosses bullet sponges with 1-hit kills. This is the exact kind of game design that people hate, and that developers get fired for ffs. I know I've been out of the community for awhile, but I can't believe that what was considered 'uninspired, and 'filler' gameplay mechanics are really considered anything but. Sigh, people still uses Boltor Prime? My Mirage + Dread did the trick. Still the highest DPS in the game. Warframe is a numbers game, simple as that; Until they introduce something the rewards skill over overkill, this will be a thing.
Renegade343
What about a balance? New mechanics that will keep players on their toes, bullet sponge to utilise these new mechanics while keeping a reasonable time to kill for its level.

New mechanics that will keep players on their toes, bullet sponge to utilise these new mechanics while keeping a reasonable time to kill for its level. Balance in Warframe is like Bigfoot; A lot of talk about it ,but we'll never see it. This doesn't keep players on their toes, it means that they're just going to change their loadout to game the system, and get more annoyed with already crappy bosses. Besides the redone/recent bosses, all of the bosses are just jacked up normal enemies with a reskin and some extra abilities...Making then bullet sponges that do more damage doesn't make them harder; it makes them more tedious. Adding in new fight mechanics, would keep players on their toes. Adding some kind of restriction, might keep them on their toes. Adding more HP and damage just makes them sigh and not want to fight the boss....And consequently, forcing them to fight bosses-- Yes, you now 100% have to to progress in the game, as bosses now open up new planets-- makes them more annoyed and less enthusiastic to play the game. I have written down a whole rework for the Super Lephantis experienced between U14.0.4 and U14.0.7, if you like to see it and comment if it would be good for Warframe. MixterFox
Its really stupid to see the hardest boss in the game dropped in under a minute. And it only takes that long because you cant always damage him. when He was 80 it was a fun fight no more faceroll like the rest of the game. Lephantis was the hardest boss for about a minute, after which he never was again. Pretty much all the other bosses were hard, this one was just about telegraphing....That was the only hardest part about him. Ever.

All the other bosses are tank and spank, Lephantis at least has fart clouds to not stand in.
