ok so they took out the scramble option from the incubator I understand the Idea of players spending most of their plat getting the color scheme and pattern they want, but how are we going to change our kubrows colors and pattern now? is it going to be added in the market and kubrow color pallets and kubrow pattern pallets? just like the sentinels accessories section in the market? if so please do I would like to change my kubrow pure white and have a lotus black lotus pattern :D hope you guys consider this idea.

Has nobody considered that if you put a few platinum in and receive a color that could potentially sell for lots in the trading channel you can more then make your money back selling an imprint of it. But guess that system went to S#&$ because too many kids couldn't afford a paint job and started whining like always.

Spent ~500plat scrambling yesterday, colours were all either bad combinations or were nothing special. I stopped when i found the one i was somewhat happy with.

And how do you feel knowing that you spent all the money and they could potentially be adding them for free. Feeling cheated too? I spent about 300 give or take and knowing that it didn't last the weekend barely is leaving me feeling cheated thinking whats to come. I approve of the pattern you went with, my Sunika has that one in grey/black :).

Well, on one hand i feel cheated because it won't last, but on the other hand i did consider the risk of rolling dice with a new system. I'd say its both my and DE's fault, mine because i suckered into buying it and DE's fault because the system they implemented didn't offer a huge variety of colours.

I wouldnt have minded/rolled that much if i didn't constantly get the same type of colours. Pink/green/ice blue all in one should never ever exist. It's like DE took half a pallet from 1 set of colours(use twilight for the lightness of it) and went here you go guys "gamble away".

I would be happy if DE refunded plat for those who spent it on scrambling and just reset their kubrows to default white and implemented a new system, that way those who paid don't lose out and those who didn't pay in the first place get something new to play with.

The only cool colours i got were the bugged ones(switch from appearance A to B) but clearly those colours are not available.

The bottom line is DE needs to stop charging plat for untested systems. Let it be free for early adopters. Give it a weeks worth of testing. Pull it from the market. Look at the numbers. Give it some final tweaks. Release it again as free for one week only. If it's working, charge after that. If not, don't charge and tweak more. Yes you lose early spender money but it's ethical. I know it's crazy but sometimes being ethical isn't as profitable as being quick.

The situation is akin to being at a carnivore convention, DE dangles some bacon in front of us, we eat it only to find out its not really bacon. What do you do! I just want to make sure that whatever they decide to do, they do something for those that spent money on the initial system.

If we are supposed to build an attachment to the Kubrows, DE will need to give us the ability to customize them. I don't like this whole breeding and Imprint system, as it involves

a) Exploiting your Kubrow for profit

b) Discarding Kubrows with unwanted results.

Really don't see how two genetic scans could be considered exploiting ones kubrow.

The system "went to s#&$" because it was a S#&$ system. It was an RNG lottery with premium currency. and that is never good. It was not that "too many kids couldn't afford a paint job" in fact, if you go look at the thread in feed back where people were posting about it, me and many others were saying that we would pay more if DE just allowed us to pick the colors that we wanted. We were "whining" because it was(and still is) a bad and poorly implemented system.

Once word gets out to the masses that imprints are not guaranteed to create the Kubrow that the imprint was made from, trust me that nobody will be making money off of them. Imprints only provide a very small increased chance for whatever egg they are used on to inherit some "dominant" traits.

They're in a sticky situation with this... they can't simply add in colour pickers, or scamblers for credits, because there would be outrage amongst those that paid plat for scramblers, and rightly so.

They don't want to make scrambler cost credits, because then it's too easy to change. Similarly to why they make uploading a clan emblem or changing your in-game alias cost platinum. It's a decision that is supposed to have some weight behind it, so making it cost platinum keeps you from doing it on a dime.

They also don't want to make the colours freely selectable, such as via a kubrow colour palette. If this happened everyone would have their jet-black kubrows and the fun of breeding and swapping genetic codes to get the perfect looking kubrow and etc would be lost.

If they do create a color picker then they have to give compensation to those who used the scrambler, but I doubt they will do this because then imprinting isn't going to be that useful anymore besides keeping a record of your kubrow.

Supposedly they'll reintroduce it but without any lottery bullcrap.

I spent 10 on the first scrambler and when I realized it didn't actually change the colour at all I just walked away whilst I still had platinums left. I would actually like that 10 plats back. It's not much but...

It was a bit of a waste.

From what I understood the scrambler kept one aspect of your last kubrow for the new scramble, I suppose that yours was the primary color.

I spent 40 bucks on plat because I couldn't get the color I wanted. Finally got it but I agree it was painful to use money with rng because it burned my wallet and my heart!

I bought 20, nothing came out good. I got angry and bought 10, all the same colors came out again. And I got even more frustrated and bought 10 more, finally half way through my last few plats I got something very amazing but now it just isn't worth it that I look back on how much frustration it caused.

You guys have been really good about aesthetics Ingame which makes me happy but this was not a good idea because rng and real money hurts people sometimes.

I spent $50 mostly all on scramble. It was like every pattern blended together and looked like one solid color or they kept cycling through the same light brown and tan colors with the same patterns. On missions I couldn't even tell it apart from my friends that was just all white. It was frustrating because I hatched 5 and all of them were white, not a random color like the option says. It's annoying I have to spend 10plat just to change the standard white "random" color. Scramble felt broken and should have cost credits not platinum for patterns that blend together and look bland.
