Creepy Mirage Spoilers

Well I for one wish Lotus would be more clever about it when she lies to us.  I can't remember how many times shes told me reinforcements are on their way when I was alone in a mission like when farming t4 keys and passed round 1 where players could no longer join.

It was the grineer reinforcements.. not yours.

So, things bothering me about the mirage quest's lore additions:

-There's an inside to helmets.

-Tenno can't actually read(but they still get email).

-The Lotus lies, frequently, and about tactical information at that.

-The Lotus is an Orokin.

-We are exceedingly unimportant to the Lotus(she can't even remember us without outside help).

Anyone else?

EDIT: Oh, and:

-Tenno formerly had the ability to rip off heads without using energy or weapons.

I haven't done the quest yet, though I have Mirage, but...

1 : Inside, like a head? The helmets are hollow otherwise I thought.

2 : How can they not read?

3 : We know this already, I think.

4 : How's it confirmed in the quest?

5 : I doubt this only from Vor's Prize.

6 : We knew this already via the Harvester escape mission.

When someone tells me "Reinforcements Are Inbound"

I'm all like:

It's just odd she would say that and not mean your reinforcements and not include enemy faction name.

We have to make the difference between actual lore and what DE didn't do ''correctly''.

So the lotus probably lied to her because she was ordered to. All this probably drove the lotus to betray the orokin.

Now, I'm betting that the lotus is an AI version of the real lotus who did this, and that she doesn't remember everything because at some point in time her memories were copied.

When I played through Mirage's Quest, I got a different feel ...

The Lotus herself chose to "compassionately" lie to Mirage that help was on its way AFTER Mirage decided to stay and fight on even after it was clear that she was going to die fighting the Sentients.  In a way Mirage was insubordinate in remaining to fight to the death.

Your idea that "The" Lotus of "today" is an AI based upon an Orokin/human? and so (just) Lotus would be the "original" from the Old War makes sense ...

As an aside, I always thought that the article "The" was significant - a title or designation

If so, then how many "versions" of "The" Lotus has there been since the Tenno slept?  Is she Lotus 6.03?

On the other hand, Ordis seems to be an original AI from the Old War yet he/it too suffers from memory data loss

I have always been puzzled by there is part of a human face visible on The Lotus, but there are what appear to be cables running from the back of her helmet (rather like Professor X wearing the Cerebro interface)

You didn't know if The Lotus was human or just made to look human ...

Yep, Played through the quest, and you're right. And yeah, I think the Orokin were human and that the Lotus was an Orokin AI meant to guide the Tenno. Although I think there's only one Lotus.

Playing it though, I'd have to recant my previous post. I don't think the assumptions in the OP are correct. Nothing says the Tenno can't read. Ordis reads the lines, and then afterwards puts them in digital form in the inbox. The Lotus tells the Tenno what she is seeing because, well, they're her memories. So at no point does it say that the Tenno can't read. As well, the Lotus shows herself to be nothing but compassionate. I don't see how anyone could miss this. Her words and the tone give this away, as well as the fact that the Tenno are important to her. Also, helmets having an inside shouldn't be a problem. And the Tenno are stronger than regular beings. I'm sure they'd have the ability to rip a head off.
