DemonNex Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 The best mods for fang in my opinion would be fire rate, armor piercing, damage, critical damage, and a elemental mod of your choice (preferably fire for infestation as it limits the fang to 50% damage output.) But if you plan on fighting a lot of infested, you will definiely want some fire damage. You'll also want the armor piercing against the Grineer and Corpus factions though. Darzk Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 (edited) +Cold Dmg Because it fits the polarity slot (and the stun doesnt work btw because Fang has no knockback) And Cold dmg does %200 against shields, which is helpful because the innate armor pierce has not beneficial effect when working though an enemies shield. +Dmg +RoF +AP +Fire Thats it. The Crit chance and multiplier for Fang is incredibly low, and because the normal attacks ignore armor there's no point in ever using a charged attack.
