Some Kubrow Questions

First off, are Kubrows supposed to lose 20% DNA integrity every day since coming out of the egg like mine has?

 

Second, are DNA stabilizer blueprints reusable? I've got the stabilizers that I crafted from the blueprint I got, but my blueprint is gone, and 100k to spend to get the blueprint every time I want to craft more is just ridiculous. I could have sworn I read something about them being reusable... Well, looks like I was confusing this for something else. Whoops. Still 100k is quite pricey.

 

Third, are they supposed to come with the same color (pure white in my case) in all three appearance options? I believe I read somewhere that other people had them come with different colors in the other options.

 

Finally, aren't Kubrows supposed to wallrun and stuff? My Kubrow has ALWAYS failed to wallrun and instead takes a long path around to get to where I wallran up to, regardless of whether or not it is a clear wallrun path as indicated by the white scrape marks at wallrun points.

 

 

 

 

Honestly, at this point, my Kubrow feels like a Hostage AI more than a badass guard dog.

I don't think we buy the blueprint for stabilizers. We actually buy units directly.

Nah, there was a point when loadout B for Kubrow Appearance gave us a Fur Pattern/Color.

They fixed it. It was a bug.

 

Mine had a a light yellow-ish fur color and light orange-ish stripes.

1. Mine has only lost DNA integrity twice (well, the third time was just now), and it's fully grown now. So...yes? DNA Stabilizers apparently heal 40% lost, so you can go almost 2 weeks without having to buy more...

2. Cr...craftable? I just bought mine directly for 100,000 credits......???

3. White seems to be the most common color; think of it as a majority. Getting a different color is rarer, and getting a pattern is rarer still, it seems.

4. I've got nothing to say at this point. The fact that they're smart enough to seek out different paths instead of wallrunning makes it seem like they were designed not to wallrun (although they can jump across pits quite well).

Wait wat, you can make DNA stabilizers using blueprints, you buy 6 of them for 100k, and I have been told they restore kubrow DNA integrity by 100%, but best use one every 3 days, either way, they can restore at least 40% or more. Yes they do lose 20% integrity everyday when you get a login reward(yep, XP and your kubrow loses health, what a great reward), next, white is a color that all kubrows have from egg to pup, when it becomes an adult, there is a slight chance your kubrow may change color, just saying, DNA scramblers need to return, but I have heard you can change appearance of kubrow, but not color I guess(unless DE makes a spray can blueprint for us), next is that kubrows currently can do parkour, but I belive it is bugged as DE has reported it, kubrows tend to teleport randomly sometimes. Well this is all I know, hope it helps.

Really? I've seen a few players in mission with brown/black Kubrow, who claim to have not used the Scrambler.

1. Did it lose integrity during the puppy stage, too? It seems a little unfair that it would lose DNA integrity before even having a chance to use the damn thing.

 

2) Yeah, like I said, I made a mistake here. I misread the market description and thought it said blueprint. I think that the thing I built and claimed in the foundry was a genetic template or something that I mistook for the DNA stabilizers.

 

3) Yeah, but I remember seeing people saying that they come with other colors in the appearance options. A bug, I guess. I wish all colors had an equal chance, though. Most people seem to have white, and that really sucks the uniqueness out of the Kubrows.

 

4) I remember seeing wallrunning animations for them during some livestreams, so I know that at some point during development they were intended to wallrun. I'm just not sure if that was scrapped or not. I've heard nothing about it since then. Part of the reason I was so interested in Kubrows in the first place was because I expected them to be able to keep up better than the amazingly stupid Hostage AIs, and not have to take a rather long path all the way around a room when a simple wallrun will get to the same spot in a fraction of the time. :/

I don't believe this is quite true. I've seen screenshots of colored pups. I guess colors are just uncommon. Thanks for leaving individuality up to RNG, DE! At least with frames, you have a limited amount of colors to choose from without paying anything.

Yeah, I've noticed some random teleporting during the two or three missions I have played with my freshly matured Kubrow. Completely unnecessary, too. I saw it teleport about three feet from where it was for no apparent reason. Normally I would think that it was some sort of lag, but lag usually isn't an issue when playing in solo mode.
