Refund For The Scrambler Topic

I would love to get a refund if the system gets easyer. Talking about blowing thousands of platinum on this.

I think if the system gets resimplified, and what i mean about that is:

If they change it so you can buy palettes or use your ordinary palets you should get a refund. It is logic as that.
What someone have used 1000p on you now can get for 50p is by my means a refund-solution.

IF it is so that the same value and the same interaction with the RNG, its fine by me with no refund.

In the bottomline i dont care to much about it. I like what DE do to the game, and what they do to make things right. When people whined about buying the wrong Nikana everything got a solution (which i wasnt involved with) but good for thoose who stressed the buy-button.

And to all anti-refund guys, whats your problem? If you blasted thousands of plat into something that is gone, wouldt you agree?

I've gotten word that DE will be considering people who spent money on this element depending on how they change it. Time will tell what they do but anyone who did use it will most assuredly be reimbursed somehow. This might help alleviate some tension.

Hello Sedant,

At this time I do not know the current plan, but we will be conscious of past investments into the old system,

Thanks,

Rebecca

I never really though about asking for a refund upon using up thousands on lottery scratchcards, even when said scratchcard gets discontinued. We know the chances of winning and getting what we want are slim, yet we still play, almost compulsively, like a slot machine at a casino. But the fact that we would spend so much so blindly must mean something, almost as if we wouldn't really miss losing so much, no matter what we got in return.

This reminds me of the Machete. Remember the Machete? Players recently got a free Machete blueprint when DE decided to open up their magical vault. Players did not need to do more than simply sign into the game to receive it, no strings attached. However, what of the veteran players that already had a Machete, and had to go through the time, credits, resources and/or Platinum to obtain it and got to experience how bad it really was? No compensation given, though many could argue that none was due.

Even for having a clan emblem design rejected by DE's [secret] approval guidelines, there is no refund of the Platinum used (if you can even consider it actually being used for something). In a way, people that submit those emblems are also risking and gambling for something that they may not end up receiving.

IF DE somehow manages to scrounge up a smidgen of sympathy for you, you will more than likely not be getting a refund of your pocket-change-Platinum, but rather some sort of compensation to keep you content. You knew it was randomized, yet you still decided to keep going. Did you really feel it was a worthwhile risk to "blast" that much Platinum? I honestly wish to know.

Yeah but what if there comes a new card of the same type but it is a definetive win? What then? Thats unfair to 100%

I only used the pattern scrambler 4 or 5 times but either way I got pure white kubrows out of it 3 times. I think the overabundance of white kubrows raises a question of how random the random generator was. I quit after that because I realized something wasn't right, or it was so unrewarding it wasn't worth it.

But my point is that when I went into it, without any instructions, not knowing what it would generate, I had no idea I'd get mostly whites. I don't think that was just bad luck. I think there was something wrong with the RNG system. I think if there is something faulty about a product, you get a refund or an exchange.

I used it twice and got a different pattern/color each time.  The only time i've gotten white is when i first bred my Kubrows.  My experience was opposite of yours, and i dont feel as if i am due a refund.  I also didn't feel compelled to 'press the button' repeatedly like a rat being rewarded morphine in a lab like some people either.  Exercise some self control, people.
