Llyssa
I think it would make sense if we could have toys for our Kubrow. Two kinds come to mind. The first, the standard squeaky toy. Degrades over time, but enhances your Kubrow's loyalty with a slow regen between missions. Comes in corpus crewman, vor, and ruk versions. Requires nanospores to craft. The second, the "amicabilizer", is a special sidearm of corpus design, often affectionately referred to as "ball". Throwing an amicabilizer can score impact damage on a target, and has a similar travel rate to kunai(a bit slower). If it hits a target, it shatters on impact, adding a slight amount of slash and puncture damage. If it hits a surface, it will bounce and lose velocity, up to 3 bounces. Kubrows will instinctively run to and retrieve one that has stopped. They will stay at a "ball" until the player reloads, at which point they return with it to the player, and either crunch it or return it for a single point of pistol ammo. A mission where a player used the amicabilizer will generate 5% loyalty if the kubrow survives.
