So Here I Am With My First Prime. Latron Prime.

So after awhile I finally get my first Prime. Latron Prime. Still haven't built it yet, so it'll take 12H+ (I have to get the Orokin Cells, what fun). So I was wondering, what should be my next Prime after this? I am still kind of low tiered, so I know my selection is small, quite literally. *stares at my empty platinum bank* (I don't have enough platinum to get more slots for weapons and warframes ;~;)

Go for a warframe, always aim high.

For the slot thing,I reccomend farming rare mods in the OD and selling them for platinum in order to buy slots. 
There are always people looking for said mods so you will manage to get plat quite fast.

 

As for the next prime. I reccomend getting either the Boltor Prime or a Prime warframe (Ember or Rhino)

Latron Prime is very good weapon to have.

 

For next one in line, I'd say Orthos, Glaive, Sicarus, Braton, or Burston. Those are the other prime weapons I've enjoyed. Prime Warframes are only for the bling factor (with exception of Rhino, and I've heard Loki has some advantage as well).

 

With the slot issue, find some rare mods, go to trading, ???, profit.

You could either go for a frame if you want a trophy (prime warframes only offer more standard polarities, which can be replicated on a standard warframe with enough formas) or a melee weapon.  I'm rather fond of my Dakra Prime.  The prime secondaries arn't great, they arn't bad either however.  They're kinda in a wierd place.  Lex Prime has nice status and crit in any case. 

 

If you don't mind making another primary, then get yourself a Boltor Prime.  The one issue with the Latron Prime is it's not full auto.  A Boltor Prime should work nicely when you need something with more firerate and just as much DPS.  You also get the bonus of being able to turn enemies into wallpaper, which is always fun.

Really, prime weapons are just upgrades to the regular version, so if there's a regular weapon you like that has a prime version, go for that, you'll enjoy it, along with the performance boost.

Plain Loki can reach 450 energy, while Loki Prime can hit 525.

It's not about the credits, its about freeing slots for new weapons after collecting their mastery and trying them out in case you for some reason desire to hold onto them.
