Whytee
Essentially each mission gives you the very basic version of the frame you are using, and ignores the polarity slots that you may have added/changed/swapped via forma. For example, slot 1 (double-dash warframe ability polarity by default) will give you your first mod at whatever relation it has to the double-dash - example a maxed Vitality in slot 1 will ALWAYS be achieved at rank 15 in Dark Sector PvP missions, regardless if it is actually matching the polarity in your loadout (via forma), which makes it appear that you should achieve the maxed Vitality at rank 6. This makes it very difficult to properly mod your frame for PvP as the order in which you receive the mods is very important. Thanks for reading, hope this is clear enough an explanation of the bug. Llyssa
Not a bug. If I could get all of my polarity slots, as a mr16 player, and my opponent who is mr3 gets all of their polarity slots, who do you think will win the fight?

If I have a Lato/Skana/Braton and you have a Acrid/Duel Ichor/Penta, who do you think will win the fight? The point is, you play the game to get better gear, so that you can use that gear in the available missions. If you take that away there isn't much reason to grind/use forma at all - and I dont think DE want this. Edited July 24, 2014 by Whytee
Typhlosion24
I've been testing this for hours and it is a bug as far as I know. I've gotten my polarities to work sometimes, but other times they don't work.

Being able to get better gear by playing the game is a part of PvP in most PvP games I've played. Examples would be League of Legends (where you can get more summoner spells, masteries and runes by playing), Hawken (more weapons and items), Call of Duty (more weapons and weapon customizations), Tomb Raider (more weapons, skills, and weapon customizations), and many other games. In all this games, you might be at a disadvantage agains players who have played more and have unlocked more things but the core of the game is still in your own skill and strategy. Besides, if you keep playing, you eventually catch up to the other players and have as much unlocks as everyone else.

Deathstriker
What you say has sense...but they need to figure out a way so that everyone is on a level playing field(not saying that THIS is that way). That is how all GOOD multipalyer games do it. If it just becomes a "who has the most forma/potatoed gear wins" show it would be a disaster IMO. Why do you WANT a level playing field? This is how MMO style PvP works: You farm PvM to get good gear You use your new gear to be effective in PvP This is how you add incentive for new players to invest in Catalyst/Reactors/Forma. If you put everyone on a level playing field, it removes the point of grinding/Forma'ing/Potato'ing your gear, and means that you can run into battle with unranked gear and be just as effective as someone who put a lot of effort into maxing out their gear.
