Mirriky
So this happened from a graphical bug (this is not a bug report, please do not move this topic, it is in the right place) I understand that you guys want players to spend as much platinum as they can on kubrows, thats business and I won't argue with it. I would do the exact same. The second issue is that the current pallets are not fit for fur. Kubrows are not meant to use the infested pallet and things can go bad fast with that. What I propose: Fur dyes, just like warframes colours right now, but these are safe to use of organic life and fur. The colours in these sets are chosen to be used on kuborws only so they aren't green/blue/pink lamadogs running around. Patterns and body shape should stay as a breeding aspect, I quite enjoy this. This allows for players to safely spend suitable amounts platinum on a select range of colours they would like to use, different shades instead of the current range of cream colours, clue, pink, black, brown, and whatever else. It isn't very ranged and severely limits player options. I don't expect you do this exactley, but it would be nice if it worked similar to the system you have already. dancingknight
I agree with this wholeheartedly. The patterns would still be dependent on breeding but the color of the patterns themselves should be customizable.
PsychedelicSnake
As long as we don't have neon green or hot pink Kubrows running around I'm up for whatever. I'm all for customization... but there should at least be some realism in the breeding aspect.

As much as I would be against fluorescent kubrows, I think it would actually help people keep tabs on them better without having to mark them as an enemy, just saying. Nothing outrageous, only stuff that fits, this would be up to DE's art department to decide on.

Kestral9999
Wait for the next update. Shouldn't take long for all the fur dye requests and stasis mechanic change requests to finally break through to DE. I agree, the fur patterns being exclusive to breeding is a great mechanic and makes it more special when you finally get one you wanted.

Mirriky
you don't want this? because i do o.o Thats the thing, I do want that, but instead all I see in game are white kubrows, so many I can't tell which is mine when there are three running next to each other. And even if they weren't all white, there are less that 10 colour variants that you have no control over.

Arunafeltz
I'd totally roll with a black Kubrow with hot pink stripes or spots. Just saying.
Casardis
Well Kubrow lay eggs so I wonder if they have some kind of bird genes in them. That could explain some of the odd fur coloring since bird feathers come in so many vibrant colors. Of course I say a bit of limitation in saturation would be good, but yeah. Mirriky
Just a recap, Colour sets for kubrows. Perhaps be able to only use one at a time per kubrow to prevent a huge mismatch of colours (hot pink with sky blue, etc. Hot pink and black doesn't seem to bad) Leave patterns as a breeding aspect along with body types. This keeps the imprints useful as well as trying to breed the ideal kubrow. Use the current colour system as warframes and sentinels, there is nothing wrong with this and everyone loves the ability to choose!
Brynslustafir
Why couldn't my kubrow stay this way...

Traceur13
I havent really been intrested in kubrows because the lack of color customization. It makes it yours...

They give birth to live youngs. However, that doesn't mean all mammals give birth to live youngs. The platypus is a good example of that.
