How Do I Embed Images In The Forum?

I don't know if this is the right spot to put this, but I'm sure one of the awesome community moderators can move it if it needs to be moved.

 

I've been on the forums for a decent amount of time and I've been seeing a lot of people embeding their images directly into their forum post, instead of posting a link. I've also seen people putting the Youtube videos themselves into their posts instead of the address for the video. I would like to know how to do both of these, because I always feel kinda stupid when I reply to a thread with images with a link to the image instead of it just being there in the post. Likewise for Youtube videos.
