grayhamster
They get in the way of shooting and distract the player Solution: 1) Make them invisible to the caster, or with some other way of notifying the caster that the mirages are active, like blurring the avatar. FaintestAura
Have they not become transparent in a recent update? 14.0.6 "Hall of Mirror clones will now fade out and will no longer block your vision when looking in certain directions" Edited July 25, 2014 by FaintestAura
Alad_VI
Have they not become transparent in a recent update? Yeah. They did. When your crosshair approaches them they begin to fade out of visibility and tangibility. Edited July 25, 2014 by Alad_VI
PenutReaper
I've got Mirage to 30 and have to say that, after the change, it seems fine to me.
Khranitel
+1. Even after hotfix, they're highly distracting.
rehspuhkuh
They do fade out, but part of it is not working correctly it seems. The clone's models may disappear (sometimes they do not) but any weapons you have equipped do not disappear/fade and remain hovering in mid air blocking your aim. Also, at least on my computer, the clones are still affected by dynamic lighting, so even if they do correctly fade out their models will be 'lit up' again as soon as I fire my weapons or some other lighting effect from the environment or enemies hits them. grayhamster
Or maybe we should widen the angle in which the clones fade out, maybe if they are in a 270 degree cone in front of your frame? That way they'll show up on the edges of your peripheral vision, so that you know that they are there.
