The New Colour Fix

I absolutely hate the new colour fix. Everything in the damn looks way too saturated now. You ruined all of my perfectly good colour schemes and I have a feeling that it wasn't just me that was affected by this.

The free colour pack was nice however may I suggest that instead of making it so that all of the colours match how they look on the actual picker you make the thumbnails of the colour picker match how they look on the frame.

 

A great example of how this affected me was one of the reds in the Storm colour pack. Before it gave me a lovely Rusty Orange colour and I used it on a lot of weapons and frames. When you released the fix it made it into a red that is almost identical to the colour directly above it. Another Example is the Black in Storm, it used to be a very very dark blue, now it is no different from the darkest black in the Smoke Colour Pack, seeing as how a lot of people buy the smoke pack purely for the black or the white in it this pack is almost completely redundant especially as Storm also contains several good shades of grey.

 

Please revert to the old colours, there was absolutely nothing wrong with them.

I would comment to bump for interest but the update made my ash look awesome.....oh wait crap

Except that a single swatch looked drastically different on different items. One good example of this was the Latron Prime, which was nearly impossible to match with other items.

 

What they need to do is go back over the color palettes and default colors on items to improve them, not revert the change. The broken system had no upsides, only things people got used to.

I suppose that's true, it did fix my latron prime but now there are certain colours that I just cannot achieve any more such as the two colours I used as an example.

I'd like my platinum back for the Tenno Pack, or a 'broken' pack which gives me the colors I previously had in it.

I wouldn't have bought the pack as it stands now.

They need to go back over all of the warframes to return them to their intended default colors. When that happens, the Tenno pack will be back to the way it was.

It won't happen. Doesn't matter how many of us $#*(@, it was a necessary bug fix apparently. It ruined all of my Warframe schemes. Browns look really over saturated so dark browns are reddish and light browns are yellowish... I had a lot of frames with brown and tan (jedi robe colours); now it just look like someone bled from a deep wound into a bowl of custard and spread it liberally all over my Warframes.
 

I also think we ought to be refunded because the colours we bought our colour packs for no longer exist.

For what it's worth, the colours i run with haven't changed all that much, they were mostly one base colour with highlights.

 

But i will say i do kinda miss that blue-ish black. My default colour palette (which occupies slot 1 for most of my frames) was a black from the shadow pack (bottom left), with the blue-ish black serving as a nice middle ground for my highlight which was a saturated blue.

 

However, not going to lose sleep over it. The theme still hold up well even after the switch. will miss that black though ;)

I really, really miss the blueblack.  And I dislike how everything is overpoweringly saturated now.  Quite unpleasant.  But the blueblack is the greatest loss of all. :(  I just am quite unhappy that they screwed with something we paid money for quite so badly.

I feel the same ... most of my amazign color schemes i got complimented by quite some players and fiewers are ruined now... and there is no way of bringing them back ... i bet the amoutn of work qould've been less as well ... changing a thumbnail over changing every frame? (not sure though cuz no clue about programmign and stuff)
