Nah_NotReally
Did you guys know that Kara (the voice of Weiss) left RT? Cool story, bro.
hijinks_the_turtle
Her journal entry has it sounding like she will voice the character, but just won't be a fixture on RT's podcasts and the like. Then again, maybe someone else will. It's happened before with plenty of series and what not. I'm sure she'll still voice Weiss.
hijinks_the_turtle
Hey guys! This is some pretty interesting news: RWBY's Japanese cast has been listed: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/06/09/japanese-rwby-cast-listed And wow, the main cast looks impressive. 4G3NT_0R4NG3
I would like RWBY if it wasn't the most racist show I've ever watched, with The Boondocks as a close second. When your villain is an oppressed minority that's just fighting for equal rights, ya dun ****ed up. It's not even making fun of racism like The Boondocks does, it's just flat out racist. You can compare the White Fang to the Equalists from The Legend of Korra. The Equalists worked as villains because the only time you saw non-benders being oppressed, it was the Equalists' fault. In comparison, RWBY is full of examples of Faunus being oppressed with no provocation whatsoever. I sympathized with the White Fang far more than any of the "heroes." The villan has taken the oppressed minority and turned them into their personal army. What you call racism is an important theme of the show. It is an issue that they want to portray. It's like saying breaking bad is a bad show because it deals with drugs.
