Why Do We Assassinate Robots?

Recommended Posts

I rather call it,"Disabling them" so we can keep their numbers low.  Otherwise, we would fight a group of mass produced proxies (Look for the Jackals on the ceilings of a room on Infested Ship tileset).

Eh. That works. They're potentially very expensive assets.

Particularly if they require Orokin components that are very difficult to manufacture or acquire.

Like Zanuka production is bottlenecked by how many Tenno you can capture. That can't be cheap.

Zanuka is a different breed of robot, unlike Jackal and Ambulas. I see Jackal/Hyena Pack/Ambulas/Raptor as essentially being many MOAs rolled into one.

Maybe we're actually just being paid by the Corpus and the Grineer to test their defenses.
Better question: Why does The Stalker care when we assassinate robots...or infested?

There is a -LOT- of things about this game that make no sense.

Stalker is messed and confused persona, he might be considered emo. Doing things nobody understands and then complains that he is angry and wants his revenge.

He is just trying to find anything to attack us for avenging the death of the Orokin Empire.

Hell, if he can, he could attack you for simply killing a Grineer Lancer.

"Your crimes against Grineer Lancer [12] will not go unpunished"

"Your Sentence is Death!"

What I'm saying is that those could require scarce black box components.

It could be something very similar to Orokin cells, catalysts and reactors. It's something you either don't understand perfectly, has a problematic and difficult manufacturing process or are a non-renewable resource that you have to go on an archaeological dig to find.

If they're sentient robots, then as somebody else pointed out, you're killing them because they may actually be leaders.

Well now that just brings to mind a MOA sitting at a table doing  trade dealings with the grineer or other corpus making its awkward noises in an attempt to speak
