Account Reset

Account resets are no longer an option because of the addition of the trading of platinum.

Devoid hits the nail on the head; If people were allowed to reset, what would happen to their platinum they traded off? Would the platinum be removed from other players' accounts? Would the player resetting not get traded platinum (or platinum invested in the dojo) back? There's just too many locations where the player's platinum could have gone to 'avoid' getting wiped/reset.

 

Also, DE made it clear that the account reset was a very temporary thing and wouldn't last.

 

And now there simply can't be a reset because of platinum trading (among other things like dojo/research contributions).

 

Sorry to say, but even if you didn't do any of these things a reset still isn't an option (because offering it to you and no one else would cause a massive upset in the community for obvious reasons).

 

All I have to say is that you should have maybe practiced better spending habits with your platinum.

yes i understand that there would be allot of problems with the whole reset because of dojo/trading etc and i know it's my fault i spend my plat the wrong way and that DE said it would not last but despite that i would like/appreciate the chance to start over now that i know how to spend my plat better and on what but like i said it's not like i'm forcing DE to look into this i would just like it obviously they have more important things to look into

But asking for it is sort of unreasonable in and of itself, especially if you're aware of the reasons why it can't occur. Sort of like asking a taxi driver if they can drive you to a location even though they're off-duty or have a full taxi; you know why they'll say no but you ask anyway. It's a bit silly.

the reason why i do ask even if it's silly is because you never know DE does look into this and does find some kind of workaround for the problem i know it's far-fetched but you never know
