OrphanMaker
Hi, I have been playing warframe for a while. I have just finished the solar-map. Now like many other veteran players "I am bored." I have nothing to do now but forma on weapons I never got a chance to use. As a player I have nothing to do now and is about to drop the game all together. I really like this game and would like to continue playing it further so I came up with a idea that will add replay value to warframe. My idea is: add a tier system to the solar map. The first solar map completion should be tier 1 solar map, second tier 2, third level Tier 3, and fourth level tier 4. Which each tier the enemies difficulty will scale. For each completion of a solar map the player should be rewarded with super rare mods, items, and weapons. Like completion of the tier 1 solar map should reward the player with a 1 legendary fusion core. Tier 2 will reward wraith and vandal weapons upon planets completion and 1 legendary fusion core. Tier 3 would reward some super uber rare mod with planet completion and 1 legendary fusion core upon solar map completion, and fourth will reward new super weapons. This is only an idea. Okay for Veteran players! I posted this because new content is always being added. I want to replay some of these planets because when I first played them the tilesets was different. I don't want to replay them now because I can bullet hose everything. I need a challenge. PS In most game you are allowed an option to replay the game at a harder difficulty. This is a way to implement that. Do not discuss gameplay, and old mechanics. That is not what this is about. Gameplay is something different. This is a way to implement the classic "replay your game at a harder difficulty mode." Edit The Solar-map tier system can be used at the beginning of the game. It would ask the player to choose a difficulty and put them on that level of the solar-map tier system. Its either this or the DE could put in more solar-systems... :D Just kidding, the current solar map needs to be finished up. DarkenedThimble
That's not adding replay value... That's adding more grind "content" by way of artificial difficulty.

LadyScootaloo
Nopls. The boredom I have is that the core gameplay is dull. Shoot that, hit a button, shoot that, hit another button. (this is also what melee is, essentially)
rechot
replay content is something that changes every time giving new experiences. Try playing with a group of friends in Skype. I bet you have more fun. and if i'm correct you are mastery RANK 8. i am mastery rank 15 and i still see funny cool new stuff everyday.
Gr33hn
It is an idea yes I am not to fond of it but you are right in the fact that Warframe needs to add something more then just progression through loot after the solar map is completed.

Varlu
Most of the missions on the solar map have the exact same mission types and tilesets. Each planet is already its own "Tier".
Lorthos_Mornin
Although I love the idea of solar map replay value, what you suggest only works a couple of times. I could play every tier of your suggested system and all it would be is grind (I'm mastery rank 16 btw, in case it matters). Frankly, the mission types (survival, defense, and now interception offer way more replayability (forgive me if I'm making up a word) than a tier system to s planet mission ever would, and your suggestion of rewards is, again forgive me if I'm being insulting, laughable. I could recomplete the solar map in under week with dedicated play and the idea that that would reward wraith/vandal weapons and legendary cores seems, well, insulting. The Wraith and Vandal weapons are event rewards, some of them were really grindy achievements and depended completely on actually being there at the time of the event. I'm not saying they shouldn't eventually be released from the "vault", but handing them out to people who weren't there for the event and merely completed the solar map seems too easy (this is as someone who wasn't there for the Strun Wraith, Snipetron Vandal, and I know this really doesn't count in the comparison since it was purely a timing thing: Braton Vandal and Lato Vandal). With regards to legendary cores: those were rewarded for leveling Steel Charge beyond 5ish for the limited time available before the patch. I'll admit, I got the reward for only leveling it to 1 beyond the requirement but there are some who put innumerable rare 5 cores and other resources into leveling that aura and while recompleting the solar map may be a fair trade for rewarding those cores it depends completely on the level of difficulty, which, if you've completed the solar map already, should be approximately zero, since you know what you're doing by now. Personally, I'd prefer a unique and interesting requirement before I am rewarded a legendary core, but that's just me. So ultimatly, I agree with DarkenedThimble, all it would be adding is "artificial grind content" for which I could go to the key system, survivals, or defense if I was really looking for it. In essence, what you're suggesting wouldn't add much, if anything, to the game. Thanks for posting though, ideas are always a good thing.
Kashiki
For there to replay value, wouldn't you need to be able to "beat" the game? Even those whom are MR16 with every weapon/warframe/etc. should know that you can't beat this game. New things come out too often. Besides, why would you want to replay your account that you've had for a year to grind on a second one? Your first was painstaking enough.

AbaliskInfinite
Yeah, but some people would not mind replaying the solar map with a higher difficulty. Just speaking for myself here, but the solar map is terribly uninteresting. There's little reason to play all the nodes, ESPECIALLY Rescue, save for mastery and extractors. I have all I need from alerts as well. Not to mention, a good chunk of planets reuse tilesets so that's another reason I wouldn't want to go to them.
