Defense Issues, New Mode Suggestion

You know, everybody is probably pissed off by now by the stuck units in every defense map, specially if the faction has anything flying.

If the pathfinding is just too difficult to fix why not make it so if there are only 5 or less units left and they are out of the line of sight of any player (same mechanism spawns use) the units retreat or self destruct, just so we don't have to hunt around the whole map for the last unit(s), I don't see the downside of such a change and I can't imagine it would be too hard to implement, also gets rid of bugged units nobody knows where they are.



As for the new scenario, many people like survival but they hate the life support thing, what about a "last stand" kind of mission, or "swarm", in which there is no LS but the more you kill the more of them spawn at you overwhelming the players eventually? Sounds like fun, if the XP is too much you could nerf it in this map specifically I guess.

Well... so basically a "horde" type of survival? The problem I see with that is that you will end up overwhelming player's computers after some time in it.
