Kubrow Scrambler Tweaked (How To Random And Not Rage)

ok now that that is done,

I propose that DE re-adds in the scrambler with a slight tweak.

the old scrambler was 10P and was randomly selected from the choices that are allowed. My idea is that the scrambler be split into 2 different scramblers: Color and Pattern.

 

here is the reason: a good color and pattern can be bred and creates a fun market on the Trading channel. breeding gives a unique facet to the game, and i hope it gets developed a bit more! anyway, to avoid messing that stuff up, and to help change the way people are annoyed at having to create a new kubrow or dealing with a bad color/lame pattern, splitting the two up and halving the cost (5P per scramble) should give players a chance to change up their pup without giving up something that they like, such as a lotus mask or a good color scheme. It also appeases (or should, some people will never be satisfied because they expect to be handed perfection on a silver platter) players who are against random by allowing some slight amount of control over what gets randomized. this will increase precision of breeding (for instance, if RNG hates you and 2 imprints lose a color you could potentially get it back (OR for people who dont want to pay for play, they can sell a green kubrow with a brown lotus mask imprint and a buyer could change the color later).

 

yes, it is still random and platinum, so here is an IMPORTANT addition.

every time someone clicks on "scramble" put a bold disclaimer that says "THIS IS RANDOM. Understand you dont always get what you want. If you are unhappy with a random outcome, DO NOT use this function."

i just think for something like cosmetics, people who dont want to pay for random can opt not to. if you do and are disappointed, sorry, but you understood what random means. instead of using the scrambler, buy imprints (that is WHY you can trade imprints, by the way)

 

anyway, another way to think about it is that without the scrambler, it is still a random chance to get something good without imprints, and you have to wait 4 days to do anything with the kubrow you hatch if you DONT spend plat, AND each stasis slot costs 10P anyway.

 

TLDR: 2 separate scramblers for color and pattern. if you dont like plat and random dont use it.

 

ps. if you are just going to say "plat and random is wrong" save it and dont waste either of our time.

 

For DE:

if you would like to not have a pink kubrow in the game, its a possibility to remove unnaturally bright colors from the possible outcomes. keep in mind that some players do like their magenta nova to match their puppy, but maybe add in those unnatural, non-realistic fur colors as colors for only the patterns maybe?

AKA. you don't go from white to white, but you could go from white to brown then to white again.  Just make it always change something.

No. Platinum and random are not words that should go together. That translates to gambling with your money, and I don't like that. I propose separate kubrow palettes so you get guaranteed colors that you want, along with pelts.

This is a terrible idea. it would crash the current market for kubrow imprints and make the whole system of imprints aside from for a better chance at a specific breed pointless.
