The yellow ones that can know you down, if there is over 1 and you are the only player near one you have no chance at all to get back as they do it until you are dead

Something needs doing to limit the number of them in any given spot or give a roll skill to the warframes for when tehy are on the ground as to roll out of the danger

Ah yes the dreadded "Shockwave Moa", with some simple timing and paying attention to sound effects (unless you're deaf, no I mean that literally a lot of shooters are based on sound and I could see the difficulty for a deaf person) you can jump over the shockwaves or sprint faster than they expand. The key is to either see one doing it and jump when their leg appears to be moving to the ground for the stomp or hearing the "FWOOSH" stomp sound behind you and either running away from it or making a quick jump toward the sound which should make your character go over the red circle.

The Moas are programmed to do only one stomp within like 30 seconds or something so unless you have a video in my many hours of gameplay I've yet to have been chain stunned more than 2 or 3 times. Also yes if you are not situationally aware you may get stunned long enough to be killed by other enemies, such is life in a video game. Occasionally you will lose a life!

I will say I'm a big fan of removing stuns from video games but in this case they're easily avoidable with a jump or some swift movement so I feel they're a fair penalty and a good way to train players on how to "not stand in the fire" as the classic MMORPG saying goes. Not to worry "Lolfish" I'm sure with some practice you'll be avoiding Shockwave Moa stomps in no time.

Eh it's not too bad. You can actually dodge the blast by jumping over it. Generally for me they try to blast me once and then after that they start shooting. I don't know when they blast a second time because usually I kill them first =p

You probably haven't still experienced the same thing as me and a friend of mine, on Pluto.

We open the door, 5 shockwave moas storm in and surround us - Mission failed. Seriously, I even find a way to kill 3 at the same time, but 5...God, I'll have nightmares

I've had this happen and simply running away works fine. You can sprint faster by default than the Moas and certainly faster than the stomp. That or if you really have you skill hat on... sprint jump air-slide (or shift -> space -> ctrl) out of the area.

I know that, but we didn't notice there were 5 of them in the beginning

Weeeeeeeeeeeeell not to be a jerk about it but that sounds like a skill issue not a fundamental gameplay issue. You are after all playing the "endgame" content, it should be difficult, no?

Yes absolutely, that was a separate case, I never have problems with these enemies usually.

It's just that it is strange that such a big pack of shockwave moas spawned in one point. Now that I think about it, the spawn rate of some enemies should be tweaked, but I don't want to go off topic, to me the idea of the OP is a no no.

tweaking the spawn rate would still be on topic, simply because it is to due with the ammount of them in one spot

Maybe I was incredibly unlucky getting 3 going ape S#&$ doing the blast attack, but if it happens to someone else they would get how frustrating it is as you cannot do a single thing until they either kill you or leave (which does not seem any more likely)

Just make the stomp windup interruptable. Yes it's slow and fairly easy to spot, but nothing short of killing them can stop it - I even hit one that was doing the windup with an air attack from the Cronus; it acted as if nothing had happened and finished the stomp anyway. Given the things are balancing on one leg, this seems rather silly.

I need to test more, but I think Radial Disarm might break/disable their stomp ability. It definitely disables their guns.

True, sometimes when doing melle-only solo runs it's freaking annoying, counting the inability of all but one weapon to hit multiple enemies at once. (many times I'm doing the charge attacks but it hits the guy near my target)
