Dhrekr
I like Kubrows. When low in level (e.g. after a Forma), they tend to die pretty easily. If the Kubrow doesn't have enough mod points, I can't install Loyal Companion (or whatever the name is) and the pet dies in three seconds. Due to the fact that, 1) as far as I can see, there is no notification of Kubrow's KO, 2) the Kubrow position is not marked on the map usually the dog dies before I can even notice. Could the Kubrows be treated more like teammates? If we received a message saying "Your_Kubrow_name is down" and we could see the red alert sign in the minimap, I dare say that many low-level Kubrows could be saved. notionphil
This would greatly improve the usability of Kubrows. +
BrotherJudas008
This would be nice and I imagine it is coming at some point. I hope. Even if they have the little blue dots like Ash's Clones it would be better and easier to track.
Blibble
Came to make this exact topic, please add this ASAP. The only reason my Kubrow dies is because I can't see where it is, that's dumb.
Cryp2Nite
It's a rough timer anyway (no Loyal Companion). But you can mark your Kubrow like an enemy - still not a great help.
[DE]Megan
I think this is very relevant feedback in regards to improving the Kubrow. Waypointing the Kubrow results in an enemy marker, which can indeed be confusing. Although this helps you keep track of your companion, being able to see the Bleed Out Timer would be beneficial especially without the 'Loyal Companion' Mod equipped. This feedback has been relayed to the appropriate people. Thanks!
Hixlysss
Why can't the kubrows appear on the mini map like Nekros' minions? You could even give em their own special little doggy icon.

inthephonebox
This would be a step in the right direction, and I'm glad Megan is relaying it, but I still feel Kubrows need a bit more survivability, especially at lower levels. They are barely, if at all, more durable then sentinels, but with a huge detriment if they die, which sentinels tend to do a lot. Also, they really need better AI when it come to fire. One Napalm Elite and you can kiss your Kubrow goodbye. As long as it gets one shot off, your Kubrow will find a way to roll around in the fire. Fuzzydragon
made a thread just earlier on this but would be nice to get a paniced lotus notification when your Kubrow or a freind has gone down. pS, and my kubrow mods showing up in the installed tab when trying to fuse would be nice. I think DE has made this abundantly clear. Some of the implementation is excessive such as potential permadeath if you don't upkeep, but kubs starting out weak is really a playstyle problem not a Kubrow problem. Run 1 or 2 missions of low level survivals, throw on the bleedout timer mod and a link shields and you're good to level.
Ryokuzaki
The early levels are hard, just like regular sentinels. Once you can link health and shields is pretty easy. Specially if you play with Frost or Rhino. Don't try to level them with Vauban like I did!
aoguro
Man, ppl are really getting worked up over their virtual furballs. and the "unfunctioning" network, if its not unstable its DDos-attacks, im puzzled ... im shure the DDos-attacks creates a certain kind of nervousness in the sniffing kubrows ... they feel before they are left alone in the ship when we get moved and keeped out of the game :-))))))))))))))))) i have no better sharing right now ... optyk
Also, take a Trinity and spam blessing. I have never had a Kubrow die while I'm playing Trin. It's what I do. Totally not a answer to the overall problem, but it works. I said it in an earlier thread, Trin is the new default Dog Trainer of Warframe. :)

Mak_Gohae
DE said they added the glow to kubs, doesnt that help? And at low levels, if they are that squishy, how about uninstalling attack mods and just having defensive mods? That's the easiest way to keep you Kub alive, dont let him fight. Klies
The health mod that heals your kubrow for a percent of the meele damage you do, then go hit things with meele... Where is the problem? I've had one go on me once, but only because of an arc-trap immune to meele and me stuck in Valkyrs ult for an extended duration -go narrow minded- and I ran out of grineer to kill to keep him alive. :(
