Why do I get auto-kicked when I try to type "gays" in recruitment chat?

Can I not be LGB friendly? Or is kickbot homophobic?

 

Serious question.

Gay is slang, kickbot has slang.

 

You can say Homosexual, but not gay.

I guess it makes it funny when I type it and get kicked right after. I suppose I could live with it for that comedy point alone, but it gets annoying to relog and repost.

Didn't you create a huge thread about this the other day? Honestly if you want to talk about your sexuality (gay, straight, asexual, etc.) probably best to keep it to private chat and in clan/alliance. Mostly because I probably speak for a lot of people when I say I really really could care less about your sexuality, and partly because general chat is where civility goes to die.

Gay is a kick word probably because it's used in a derogatory fashion more often than anything else.
