Iluminado
Today I got a 50% platinum discount and so i though why the hell not... lets buy some platinum and spend it on kubrow starter packs :| so I bought the 370 platinum and 4 kubrow starter packs thinking that I would be able to get at least one of each kubrow with some cool paterns for breeding later on....I was wrong.... 4 packs later & a genuinely farmed one and all I had achieved was getting 1 sunika and 4 yes 4 huras kubrows. All I might add had pretty much the same pattern... How many people has this happened to &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& D.E. please fix this silly RNG that literally just makes me not want to play this game anymore...... -Edit it was 4 kubrow packs + 1 which i had farmed. (PSN)IIIDevoidIII
With things like this, I'd prefer weighted RNG. Make it harder to get a breed you already own.
Noobstein
And how do you think they will make money then? I hate RNG as much as everyone, but you have to understand their point of view. They're here to make money.

They're here to make money. They make their money from the actual purchase of platinum not the rng after effects. Also if they fixed this more people would probably buy platinum to buy kubrows, knowing that they have a better chance of getting what they actually want. I'd be much more inclined to purchase Plat if i'm certain of what i'm buying.
Lluid
To make it clear : people complain about RNG, and ask for fixing it. But with RNG it's completely normal to get what they get. What they want is weighted RNG, as "Devoid" said before. And it doesn't only apply to kubrows...
(PSN)IIIDevoidIII
Let's do some math; I have: frames=24 slots= 480p 101 weapons-3 gift weapons=98 slots= 588p 10 immortal skins= 400p Proto skin= 150p Daedulus and Edo chest and shoulders= 190p Daman Sugatra=15p 6 weapon skins= 150p Para mask, wings, body= 85p 4 color palettes= 300p Add that all up and you get 2358p Considering PS4 discounts are practically nonexistent, and we'll assume none of this is from a Prime Access, the least amount of money spent on this is about $115. Then, if we are to add the current amount of plat I have, it'd be: 3704p Which would then be about $180 at the cheapest. So, I really think that making it a little bit easier to obtain a different Kubrow breed won't hurt profits all that badly.

I'd say just Kubrows, the way to obtain them is unique, and can be quite disappointing and discouraging.

You may be right, but then why not get rid of RNG? I don't think they're just mean and like to torture players. I don't understand it fully, but I think it's better for them this way. Think this trough, people ARE already buying this, right? And he bought 4 times too, so that's 4 purchases... Is he satisfied? If he would just be plain satisfied from the purchase then he wouldn't purchase again, would he? He'd be done with the whole process. But what if he's not satisfied with this because the process gave him about 4 out of 5 Kubrows to be incredibly boring and not worth keeping? Well, you're frustrated but who gives a crap about you being frustrated, the important thing is that you still want those Kubrows! So you'll just roll for RNG again, and again, and again... See where i'm getting at? If they were to just give us what we want, then we'll just have what we want and not need them anymore. But if they instead sell us a "chance" to get what we want instead of straight what we want, while at the same time encrypting this "chance" beyond any chance of datamining to rig the RNG in such a way that you'll NEVER get what you really want, then you'll be an infinite sucker/customer.
