That would give us an insight of how serious this DDoS actually is, rather than guessing, and it would avoid fellow players from gettting annoyed so easily. ... That's what I would do, if I was on the staff of a company. There's no real need of sharing any detail that may or may not affect the end result, but it would really ease up the atmosphere that's been building up for this week (and it isn't over... Today i played a bit earlier but i was kicked from the game pretty fast.And since imposible to relog. And the worse thing is that the friend i'm playing ( who's living at 60miles from me ) with have no issue to login, only a few crash. There is a big accumulation of frustation here ... Yep that would be great. We still can't connect today, and still no infos from DE ! I don't understand why they don't say anything ! The whole community is asking for a few words just to explain a bit what they know, but no, absolutely no info ! I love the game, I love how they listen to people when they create something new or modify features, but I really hate how they keep us in the dark ! Rebecca, if you see this, please pass the word that if DE keeps this up, they're going to annoy a lot of users ! And even if there is a big gift at the end of this "crisis", it won't make up for keeping us in the dark. I'm really close to quitting this game for good, although I really don't want to. Yes same here, get INTERNET_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT....while several other player friends all across the us and 1 in Canada log in with out a hitch. I havent played for more than an hour in the last 3 days. Quite frustrating indeed. :( And still no responses or general concern seen yet. Not even that they know its happening. miyamojo Posted July 31, 2014 Share Posted July 31, 2014 Same here. Can't connect or if I connect game crashes during mission (rare) or after extraction (all the friggin time). A new bug, for me at least, is that I get random sound outages. Game goes completely silent for minutes at a time. So yeah, I stand by my previous post. DE should take up some of the suggestions or at least update the community. Even if the update is just a lack of progress, at least we would be communicating! xXBomBa86Xx Posted July 31, 2014 Share Posted July 31, 2014 (edited) yeah, pretty fun to play right now.... just did two 20-25 min survival missions with public matchmaking, found some very nice mods, and after both games, i didnt get the info screen, loaded back into ship and game was like freezed, screen was like grey filtered, couldnt even alt+f4. seems like xp and money were saved, but all mods are lost, pretty sad. on the other hand, did some solo missions, no problems here. It still doesn't solve the problem of being disconnected midgame or in-game interactions being slow and load times taking forever, but if you're desperate to log-in, setup google DNS (or OpenDNS if you prefer) Go to your control panel, network and sharing, click adapter settings and right click on whatever connection you're using (wired or wirless adapter). In the properties window, go to the networking tab and check both IPv4 and IPv6. Click on IPv4 and click properties. Under General, go down to where it says DNS, don't mess with the IP address. Select 'use the following DNS server address' and enter the following values: Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8 Alternate: 8.8.4.4 Hit ok then open the IPv6 properties. Select Select 'use the following DNS server address' again and enter the following values: Preferred DNS Server: 2001:4860:4860::8888 Alternate: 2001:4860:4860::8844 Hit ok again, close the control panel windows and try to log in to warframe, it should work! Personnaly the ddos pretext seem less and less real to me.Beside the fact that some player are actually playing with no issue.Take a look on twitch : http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Warframe After 3 day even if DE don't know how to counter it,the ISP should have noticed analized and reacted already That's what the maintainance is / was for, probably.
