Is it supposed to still do constant fire damage/impact damage while channeling? Seems those are the only two statuses I can get even with having Radiation and Viral on it.

 

On that note is it always random for which status effect is chosen when it procs? Doesn't seem to ever proc my Radiation, though it barely is ever proccing my Viral.

The highest damage elemental damage will proc first and most of the time, unlike physcial. you may be able to proc radiation or viral. But chances are very slim.

That sounds like a bug. I don't use a channeling build, and it procs the elements I have installed for me. Channeling shouldn't change that.

Impact proc is definitely coming from the stance. Strange to see Fire procs when built for Radiation. Possibly it's a component of the stance as well, or an innate feature of the weapon, such as the toxin procs from Acrid.

The base element combo is supposed to make it proc whatever it changes into, though. My Acrid doesn't proc Toxic 'cuz I always have at least one other element on it.

Acrid procs poison on every hit always.

I have seen some time ago, whilst using a Corrosive Amprex that I was getting Toxic status procs. Really no idea what was causing it. It seemed to only happen on certain enemy types though. Namely the Phobos Grineer units. It's not new, but I'd certainly call it a glitch. o3o

Yes the element changes, but Acrid still has 100% poison proc.
