Sonicbullitt
Hey you, its a beta and it was free! No excuses, warframe already has a cash shop it is technically no longer in beta
TheMendozer
I love folks who scream its beta, and enough said.....that's why its been in beta for over a year now, and its made successful leaps onto platformers like Ps4, and it has a multi-lingual versions for massive server pings and big DEV pocket cash. And 14 patches of fatty filler, and massive bugs and errors.... In beta, when it really shouldn't. Not with this much fat, not with this much content. Not with this much problems, but its "beta". Kinda how I believe it will never go full release. Because anyone with an issue, log problem, black box of death, missing mods and lost content, among many other issues. Oh, no no its BETA. Best scapegoat ever.

Renathy
No excuses, warframe already has a cash shop it is technically no longer in beta In my opinion, I think it's okay to have a cash-shop in a work-in-progress, as long as the game is not restrictive, and forces the player to spend money to progress. vaugahn
No excuses, warframe already has a cash shop it is technically no longer in beta Having a cash shop doesn't mean it's not in beta. The game is incomplete, right? That means it's in beta.

zOmbieJunkie
Woh a lot of replies, did not expect that. Yes it is free to play, but we are "paying" them by playing. I know it sounds absurd but tis true. That is how the free to play model works. Free to play players generate content for paying players, the free to play players become the peasants looking up to the mighty well geared players, whom feel elevated from all of our gazing and marveling, and thus have a great time. Being a game developer myself, I don't believe that any business model justifies deployment of buggy content.

They adore bugs to the point of making celestial being of them. :)

Warframe is quite fair compared to most F2P games out there, no paying to crouch or timed gear like many other games have. It's easy to play this game without spending a single cent. And it's a beta. We're testers. We're supposed to find bugs.

I for one don't really care much about the bugs, there are some, like the kubrow colors being changed that irked me, but all you have to do is send in a ticket for that kind of stuff and they fix it. jennibear
Also at least this game sees fixes unlike a whole lot F2P games ive played, who had the same bugs til the end of time like Vindictus still does...

They are not a small team :) They made the multiplayer component of Bioshock 2 among many other great selling games. Futher more they developed their own proprietary next-gen graphics engine called Evolution Engine (Not a small feat). DE has been around for 21 years or so. Nothing small about them, but the notion is very romantic. Edited July 30, 2014 by zOmbieJunkie

Ishki88
It's called inference, and that's exactly what he was inferring. I'm not going to sit here and play armchair lawyer with someone who can't rub two brain cells together to read between the lines. LOL I like that "rub two brain cells." Plus you're right. Also with this game, bugs tend to stack a lot. And bugs tend to re appear after having months if it not showing up. This literally has a VD....but DE applies ointment almost every week so we should fight through it

jennibear
Nothing small about them, but the notion is very romantic. first off: romantic? LOL u gay or what? second off, idk what you consider to be a small team if you think DE is a big team... Compared to the top competitors in the industry, like blizzard, Bioware, PWE, and Nexon they are incredibly small. Plus it's not like the made the whole game of bioshock... they just contributed. 2K was the main contributor for bioshock not DE.
