I'm guessing you're in one of the larger clans.  You do know that costs get scaled upward, the higher tier a clan is, right?  It's expected that more clan members help pay for the research costs.  So for one person, it would be high.  For 100+ that's nothing.

As somebody indicated, research costs scale based on your clan size with the assumption that more people = more contributors.

 

For a Ghost clan (10 or fewer members) it only costs 3 neural sensors to research.

 

If you can't get a hundred neural sensors in a large clan, maybe it's time to find a better, more active clan.

In principle you're right - but this case is slightly different from my experience. I'm the warlord of a storm clan, and 35 still feels rather high in and of itself. I've yet to see any other weapon or even decoration that costs that much of any rare resource at once beyond things like solar rails and specter regiments.

 

Also, these are Neural Sensors we're talking about, which are arguably the most rare rare-type resource in the game as they only drop from one planet.

 

It's important for the costs to scale - of course, but I find the rate to be out of sync with other clan tech resource requirements.

Do this:

 

Assume only half of your clan is going to contribute within the time you're gathering resources.  Take half your clan population, and divide it into the neural sensor quantity you need to raise.  That's how many each person needs to come up with. I think you'll find that it's like...  2 or 3 per person, max.   Which is not unreasonable.

 

If you have a dead clan where nobody plays or contributes, then that's not DE's fault.

In our clan almost everbody is active but the thing is we farm Neurals when we need it for lyk potatoes n farming Neurals is .... u knw wat is it. So, i guess its gonna take abit tym :/
