Getting The Loki

Hi everyone,

 

I couldn't decide whether this would go in the Trading Post or not, but I figure here you guys will earnestly want to help rather than trying to score that delicious platinum. It is this silver coin that warps our hearts and souls. 

 

Anyway, for a more/less serious topic I had a question. I want a Loki Prime, who doesn't? But I don't have the platinum to drop on him. Is there some socially acceptable way of getting people to haul you along on the void missions? Key-for-key type of exchanges? Give them random parts? I'm not a burden, but I'm also not a potato-farming Forma god. I just find it sort of disheartening that, unless I have a very specific build (As a Nekros/Loki, I really can press more than 3 and 4) and a certain weapon class, I'm undesirable. So, is there a way to score a trip to the Void that doesn't rely on me finding the one desperate player? I feel like this should go in Trading Post, but this seems like less of a trading thing and more of a player thing.

There are a few ways to go to the Void (w/o the use of plat):

1) Use your existing keys

2) Go to Recruiting chat or your Clan/Alliance and look for a host

3) Do a run that has people take turns using keys (forgot what people called it)

4) Trade for keys w/ parts, mods, etc. and use them

Wait, the Recruiting Channel is for that sort of thing? I always thought it was for clans. Huh...

Being in a clan certainly makes things a lot easier. I farmed all my Primes with clanmates who just wanted people in their runs.
