I Had A Thought... (Silva & Aegis)

I've been thinking a lot about the whole "Melee 2.0" thing.

Now, I'm not saying its bad. Not even slightly. But, there's one thing that bugged me.

...Why does the amount of damage you block take more stamina?

We're supposed to be capable of running up to these guys' faces and slice them to death.

Not lay flat on our backs half way there because our stamina ran out.

This also really begs the question... what were you thinking with the Silva & Aegis.

Its a sword and shield. We're supposed to use it to block. Yet it doesn't technically block damage.

So. I'm looking forward to what people have to say about it. Maybe DE will notice me. (Ohgod.)

Anyways. That's it. Keep it civil in here. >->;

Because it blocks all and every type of damage. But I still think it should consume less stamina than other weapons while blocking.

Everyone uses a 100% dmg reduction shield's everywhere.

Whaaa...

I don't understand this sentence (or sentience, maybe >:D  ). Why ,,shield's"?

Might be because I just woke up.

In dark souls 2, there are things called greatshields which almost all of completely block damage to your character at the greater cost of stamina. Many players (who don't use light builds) use these in order to survive in the game.
