duenor
Don't cave to pressure to release something "on time" regardless of whether it's ready or not. Take your time. Make sure it's stable. It doesn't have to be pretty or perfect, but it's got to be stable. It's got to have its basic components working: matchmaking. rewards. end of mission. chat. of all these, the worst to have go wrong is the end of mission rewards crash that we had. I'm certain that many players, myself included, felt inclined to simply walk away. Not that we don't like the game - but we don't like feeling like all of our time just went... nowhere... and that the next time we play, it might also go... nowhere. So. It's ok to take longer. We'll wait, we'll keep playing missions.
immolator1001
Awww look someone who wasn't here wasn't here in the days before u14 was released. RsxHayabusa
When EA rushed Battlefield 4, the game was extremely buggy to the brink of being unplayable. Crytek and other devs take their time. And they have impressive results too. Edited August 1, 2014 by RsxHayabusa

Metalarcher
were in beta, I WELCOME THEE BUGS, so don't $#*(@ about bugs i would rather do some testing for DE than act entitled to a FREE game.(that iv'e spent $15 on but still) That's true, but when the bugs are very apparent and numerous it seems like a fruitless effort to try to report them all, just to get the game to work. It feels a little like we're going nowhere, and the really apparent game-changing bugs are still there. Plus, with more bug reports being thrown around, there is less time to debate about what makes Warframe more fun to play. Not talking about bugs here, just elements of the game that should/shouldn't be reworked. And that's the really important discussion. "What makes Warframe more enjoyable, more engaging, more challenging, while still accommodating every player as it does now?"
Kether
Crytek and other devs take their time. And they have impressive results too. Given recent developments, this may not have been the best example.

duenor
Awww look someone who wasn't here wasn't here in the days before u14 was released. Seriously things got way out of had (as usual) with people threatening to quit the game and such. My account has been active since last summer. People who threaten to quit should not hasten the untimely release of a product that truly does give many more than those clamoring few good reason to leave. were in beta, I WELCOME THEE BUGS, so don't $#*(@ about bugs i would rather do some testing for DE than act entitled to a FREE game.(that iv'e spent $15 on but still) When you have released a game to the public and maintained an active market for the sale of in-game goods in exchange for cash, you have produced a de facto game. A beta is free, time-limited, and usually released only to a small group. This is not a beta - this is a fully released game whose devs acknowledge that it is a work in progress. And that is fine. I have spent plenty of good money on this game, and I knew what I was getting in to. However. My post is a suggestion - we know that this is a work in progress. In fact, we support your efforts. Simply do not release sweeping updates until the basic functions are truly stable and ready. In short, ignore the grasping rabble, and release when ready. We'll all be happier for it. Vitras
That would make sense to most of the player base who is already here. But it seems DE's mentality has become more about inspiring awe with their new toys to bring in new players rather than making current players happy. And it'd be excellent if they did it right the first time, because otherwise they "forget" about it and never fix it later on. *cough*Seekers*cough*
