The Forgotten: Code named-Shogun

 

The Shogun are an ancient enemy of the tenno. Long feared and respected by the tenno for their battle prowess and skill in battle, the Shogun are few in number but powerful. In recent months we have begun to see their ancient beacons flare to life. We cannot let this happen. If the shogun return it will plunge the Sol system into a new era of war tenno. If we cannot convince them to join us, we must eliminate them. Tenno, this is very important, you MUST eliminate this threat, one way, or another.

 

Shogun are ancient, terrible, and yet wonderful. Where as the tenno embraced the ancient way of the ninja, stealth strengthand secrecy, the Shogun took up the Samurai. Many a tenno was swayed, and never gained the warframes that gave them their power, and instead gained the power of the Shogun. Powerful cybernetic enhanced armor that gives the user increased stamina, strength, and power. While the shogun lack the special powers of the Tenno, they make up for it with their own unique form of abilities. One of the most common is magnetic field. A special field emitting from normally a guarded enemy towards a group of tenno, freezing them in position,or drawing them in to a hail of bullets and blade. But somethign more devisating is the Shogun archers. Pin point accuracy, with incredible power. Using long ranged bow's, enhanced with special fibers to increase the pull strength and puncture of the weapon.

 

Just a breif idea for a new faction. It could be cool if it was a selectable faction, choose to play as the Shogun, or the Tenno. But either way it would make a lovly addition to the game. instead of an all out war style play, like the grineer or corpus the Shogun would appear during a mission in groups of four or five.

Technically the Tenno didn't choose the ways of the ninja, the Orokin made them that way.

 

Also the Tenno already had an ancient enemy: the Sentients.

no but they have talked about the new faction being the least humanoid. And they say they have something EPIC they are going to be unveiling at GamesCom so my speculation is that its going to be the new faction. Or at least pert of the unveil will be the new faction.

...interesting. and yeah i kinda picutred the shogun as the sentients. since no one else said anything about them XD just a fun idea though

I actually had an idea similar to this. It was basically another faction similar to the Tenno in skill & intelligence. So really it was just another faction that was more difficult/fun to fight that acted & fought like us.
