Retrospecter
I found it amusing to put trees on the ceiling, but that's been it.

011100110110000101101101
Put Koi Ponds on all ceilings. Make a Combat Formation Bravo tribute in every room. Statue stairs. Anti-gravity rooms, where everything is on the ceiling. Good luck. . Edit: I forgot one more thing, mirror rooms, pretty self explanatory. Mirror all decorations on the ground to the ceiling. Blackye
On our Dojo we used the Rock Statue to simulate a "Hanging Scrotum" we've been laughing to it and it's been the best attraction to the newcomers since then. And on the more creative side we've used a Ying-Yang Salt things in the Dueling Room's circle Also once we had a place where the warlords would stand and talk to the rest but that was before we re-built the place completely. EDIT: Got pictures The Hanging Scrotum The Dojo's Circle Edited August 2, 2014 by Blackye

Senketsu_
Been designing my clan dojo lately and have been finding different uses for some of the decs. LETS SEE EM! I would suggest to not put obstruction in the middle of walkways or in choke points, instead put that as ground point for trees, or on the side of places to make nice looking thresholds. Also never be afraid to try and put things in different place against what they were ment to be used for. I found myself capitalizing on the Trees on the ceiling and walls(hehe I even put bridges in the trees on the walls just for the Hek of it), I even used one of the fountains types as archways.
