DarkLordX2
Grineer are Clones and Corpus are Merchant, i don't think so. Because these are Grineer female units: And the Codex explains Grineer are "Clones", more like Mutants in my case. Then we have Corpus, Advanced Merchat with Energy weapons. Let see at the female units: That's right, there's none. Now, who are the Clones? PD: Cloning is the process of producing similar populations of genetically identical individuals. For me, all the Crewman looks the same without the Helmet. Edited August 3, 2014 by DarkLordX2
Ghostkeel
Edit: Horrible joke is horrible. More females on Grineer side probably because of genetic degradation - maybe it affects female speciments somewhat different than male. So they are used to strengthen the army. H3RRD0KT0R
Can't the grineer just have cloned women as well? Different of the grineer the corpus aren't crazy warfreaks living only to fight, it's more like they're in those ships as their jobs, maybe their women are at home taking care of the kids. Maybe their society is just machist.

No wonder there are none fighting yet.

Viridias
In the new tutorial quest Vor quite explicitly states that the Grineer are categorically sterile and not really very happy about it either. Or their other accumulating genetic problems, however good they now may be at working around the symptoms. We know jack all about Corpus society and values (beyond what Ruk so succintly summed up as "greedy milk" ofc), so it's anyone's guess where their women are. Maybe they just keep those back in their "homelands" around Neptune and only send the more expendable men into the frontlines, or maybe they've gone and reinvented traditionally patriarchal mores and stick them inna kitchen making sammiches. Or... you know how Darvo is casually mentioned to be like hundred plus years old, and looks like thirty tops? That suggests at least their upper classes have had some pretty heavy-duty genetic upgrading done. Who says they haven't gone whole hog on serious transhumanism and done away with separate sexes altogether...?

WERElektro
There is exactly one model for the humanoid Corpus unit. It's the Crewman with his ....100000 variations. And this one can either be male or female. Ergo, Female Corpus do exist. There just are no models for these yet. And that's why I say that the Corpus really need more love. Compare the variation of Grineer units to the "Variation" of corpus units. That's just sad.
YandereSamantha
Female Corpus are probably at home taking care of the kids while waiting for her husband to finally take them on vacation in the sandy dunes of Phobos. Or, history repeats itself. While we don't see women directly in the battlefield, they could be engineers, operators, or "strong female war production workers" like the iconic Rosie the Riveter. Or they perhaps some of them crawled their way up to the corporate ladder. Hell, I'm guessing some are going full Mulan and slithered their way in the crew, disguising themselves as men. Gammaion
The Corpus probably have a male hierarchy, contrasting to how the Grineer seemingly have a female hierarchy. You need to understand that the Corpus we battle are merely crewmen (and sometimes high ranking members of the board) living in ships/outposts. The Corpus most likely have cities full of civilians, which includes women, and children. We don't attack civilians because they, are well, civilians. No wonder there are none fighting yet. Why can't the women just be soldiers in the first place? We've already established that the ENTIRE Grineer culture is warrior-conquest-clones, why are we looking at the women like "these guys are a bit out of place in the military." Can't the grineer just have cloned children as well? You're not familiar with the actual process of cloning, are you? --- As for Corpus females: probably just not implemented yet. Of course, it ALSO may be a play on the fact that the Corpus are these super-capitalist-merchant organizations (and more of an Organization than a race, I think, put Inc. at the end it makes it a bit clearer - Corpus Inc. ) with MASSIVE amounts of nepotism (see Darvo and Frohd), and women have been ostracized in such real-world organizations that function along similar lines in the past - history repeating itself? Freelancer27
I'm kinda more worried why the Twin Queens (the actual Grineer Heads) even create Male Grineers rather than making an entire Ant Hive of their own female kin at the moment. Supposed that the Grineer look like ants to me.

I doubt they were always like that. Somewhen in the past they lost their ability to reproduce by normal means. Women lost their main duty and they became soldiers. Now Grineer with their short lives rush to conquer. They are in a hurry because they know their time is coming to an end.

No wonder there are none fighting yet. Or just... women kick &#! and Grineer are less concerned about gender than asskicking capabilities. And corpus have female crewmen, but it's not noticable because of the box helmets and suits. Or maybe the corpus ARE sexist and only think men should be used as cannonfodder. :/
Feallike
Maybe because CORPUS AREN"T CLONES AND NEED TO BEAR CHILDREN TO REPRODUCE OTHER THEN THE GRENEER WHO CLONE??!?!??!?! Seriously, this shouldn't be a questions. >.> Why don't we see any Women in the armies? Because its a male dominance race. Why isn't there mention of women? Because Tenno don't attack civilizations they attack places that fuel war, not places that people live.
Mastikator2
[snip]Why don't we see any Women in the armies? [snip] There are plenty of armies with women in them. There are plenty of roles within armies better suited for women. And corpus isn't an army, and it's certainly not the entire human population that is part of the corpus crewmen, they're more like a private security force than a military army. The grineer is a military army.
Alphafox
You can clone women too. About the corpus having to women ingame, it could be that DE simply didn't make the model yet.

If women like these would be the only thing you could pick up at the Grineer nightclub I would prefer to reproduce by cloning too....
