Need Help From Experianced Kubrow Breeders

Hi I recently got 2 sunika imprints and was wondering if I should use them. If someone who has already bred a few kubrows could tell me what traits kubrows inherit from the imprints (Type/Gender/Body Type/Color) that would be great.

Well, the only thing that is 100% is the type. If you want a Sunika then you should use them. The rest of the Kubrow is left up to chance with a tendency to pull from the imprints. As for the exact mechanics, i'm not sure if anyone knows aside from DE, and AFAIK they haven't released anything substantial.

I heard somewhere that it always keeps the imprint's color pattern. Can someone confirm or deny?

Apparently that's not true.

 

IMO imprints are useless.

 

Until DE gives a full explanation on how imprints work, I'd suggest staying away from spending ANY plat on imprints. You're essentially throwing money at RNG.

I would prefer a rework of imprinting mechanics rather than just explaining the RNG that already exists.   But I completely agree that imprints are, currently, a waste of time and resources.
