Do People Realize The Power Of Dakra Prime?

The crimson dervish stance gives dakra a base damage of 180 per swing. Do people realize that? I just wanna know because so many people still says dragon nikana is the most hard hitting melee.

Crimson Dervish is not easily obtainable, most people don't even consider it to be an option.

I've had it since the start. I didn't know it was that rare.

 

Dakra Prime, I think, is way better than the Dragon Nikana. I'm way more effective with it.

It goes for about 70 plat in the market, I would suggest you guys to buy it. I was lucky enough to trade a loki prime helmet for it and get an extra from transmutation. I strongly recommend transmutation, me and 2 of my friends have gotten it from just transmuting.

Cool or not the look is based on your personal opinion. I think dakra looks quite nice with loki (which is what I use it with). Sometimes I make my dakra pure gold and when loki ' s holding it he looks like a God with the holy blade. xD

FTFY, because with iron phoenix it ain't all that great. Would much rather use orthos p for the reach with either of its stances.

There are a bunch of differences between Dakra Prime and Dragon Nikana.

 

DaKra is only better if you have Crimson Dervish, yet, Dragon Nikana has a wider Range with Tranquil or Decisive.

 

Single target? Dakra might be better, hard hitting and stuff, but, AoE, DN is way better and faster.

 

In terms of DPS output, Dragon wins. In terms of single target damage, Dakra wins

Yes, crimson dervish Dakra Prime is insane in terms of damage.

On the other hand it is boring, fairly slow and the combos feel clunky.

I'd take a Cleaving Whirlwind Galatine over that Dakra any day of the week.

5P can be ahd for anything. Do any of the towers. ANy prime piece sells for 5p. 5p = Crimson. Takes minutes to obtain.

On PS4, that is currently the common price.

On PC. it's pretty cheap. I don't know why it's so high on the PS4. Different economy yes, same game, yes, minus U14, which infact makes the mod harder to get.

As others have indicated, Crimson Dervish is a very powerful stance with huge damage numbers but it's pretty slow and clunky.  It is a dueling stance for taking down enemies one at a time with devastating strikes.  It also requires that you actually equip your sword to get the full benefit.  Tranquil Cleave is more of an all purpose run-and-slash stance.  Different numbers, different roles.

I still prefer the Dragon Nikana when using Volt.

Without using melee stances, the DN + Speed = Left-right-anime-slash-lawnmower of doom. Basically hitting 1k-5k per hit without a raw powerbuild.

More so if critzerker. Nice wide strokes of "DIE SCUM".

 

Otherwise, it's inability to copter well makes it less useful.

Imo Its only good if you intend on taking out one stationary target with lots of hp - eg. a boss

 

Short reach, lack of mobility, locks you in place when swinging, utter crap slide attack damage... give me the more all rounded Dragon Nikana any day.

 

And If you want pure damage, try out Galatine with Cleaving Whirlwind, its 2nd combo has similar dps to Dakra but with massive reach and hits in 360 angle around you.

 

All in all, I still dont rate Dakra that highly, unless you like the swag.

Dakra Prime sucks for quick melee (especially with Crimson Dervish).  So I don't use it.

Yeah, It's only good if you intend on using EQUIPPED melee. Which is still way too awkward compared to just shooting things.

Not a fan of the Dakra Prime, even with that stance, its hard hitting, but not an effect CC melee, which is why I go for the Serro.

I got crimson dervish through transmuting a bunch of mods and spending all my life savings because i wanted tranquil cleave so badly then. True dakra primes x3 damage at the first swing is really nice but the reason why i don't use it is because i'm an orthos player, i like range and dakra has a point black range compare to orthos prime which has excellent range especially with mirage's hall of mirrors.

 

if i wanna point blank melee weapon then the crit-zerker dual ichors are my choice.

just put crit mods on dakra guys...with crimson darwish and crit mods i hit 1 hit 243k dmg on pluto........
