Well, after playing a few rounds i have to admit it´s pretty okay after all. At least i didn´t die all the time and teammates weren´t neither. Guess i can life with that.

Seems damageoutput of the enemies isn´t as high as before as well, could be mistaken on that part, though.

I think they should have at least done a 1:1 conversion of the % to +, based on the % representation of the base value. so a 56% boost should have turn into a +56. That the 56% turns into +36 does seem unfair. Even if the bonus wasn't meant to be multiplicative, the change is considered a nerf, compared to if the mod wasn't multiplicative.

lol... I had over 10K shields so i just run into a group of corpus and started swinging my fist without paying attention as volt.... now i gota start useing my powers more cept my energy siphon was also nerfed...

its kidna hard to feel like your playing a frame thats an alternative to shooting when one skill only hits one guy and your big boom only works if theres lights around..

happy i started my rhino frame now!

At least they need to tweak Arn Etina a bit.. that boss is too op with all the pull and aoe skills spam/knock downs... So a tweak needs to be done now that you cant take more hits, even with 1.5k-2k shield you would go down fast if you were cought(and sicnce she can pull you its easy).

Still after having +200% armor its still not enoguh mobs still get through your health fast... so thats sad

Yeah I mean why should we even have death. Just remove health and shields from the game thx. That or give us some big on screen warnings and freeze the enemies for 10 seconds when we reach 50 health so we can run away.

I really don´t know if this was intended but now i do have instead of about 1600 before, 398 now! In a 4 person game!

Seriously?

By the way, all my +xx% shieldmods magically became +xx shieldmods. Also with lower value that is!

Before: +70% Shields

Now: +50 Shields

Intended? Oo

I mean, one hit from some bosses and you are down!

The reason you see all these changes is because the multipler was changed to additive, multiplier mods stacked uncannily, like if you had 2 50% shield mods you'd have a total of 225% shield, and it'd only increase explonetnially from there, i saw somone with 8000 shields, that's just imba

As said and edited: It feels okay ingame. Just a little more caution is needed, no big deal.

It actually feels good, although i just got onehitteted by Counceler Van Dek :/

Well, guess i shouldn´t stand in front of a guy that uses shotguns ^^

yea i think they might have gone a bit overboard, with the shields. I agree it was ridiclous to have like 15000 shields but 3k sheilds wasnt bad, you could still die pretty easily on higher level planets like pluto. Now my shields are so low that having a lvl 30 warframe seems kind of underpowered.

And what this nerf does is further hurt the free players. They don't have the Mod slots to increase their shield to a significant level to really help them. DE is falling into the trap that I staited would happen when they need to balance out Pro suites/weapons and free players.

If pro is hard to achieve then DE will need to do some major tweaking for the Free player. But its their game they will just have to learn the hard way.

But now you can pro everything with craftable items. Issue solved.

It's entirely possible that the nerf went overboard, but I'd hesitate to immediately buff it again, as it may be nothing more than the time it takes players to adapt. Let players settle into it for a few days/week, then if people are still really struggling on end game content with maxxed Warframes/mods, then do minor buffs until it gets to that "sweet spot".

Didn't they just change it so that you can grind for Pro rather than only being able to pay for it? As for Pro being hard to achieve for the free player - well that's kinda the point. In games like this, you pay for cosmetics or convenience, or both. I agree you shouldn't HAVE to pay to get the best stuff, but complaining that someone gets it easier by paying is a bit daft, given the business model.

Personally? I kept my shields in the 800-ish range and that felt fine to me. You didn't instantly die against bosses, but you did have to be at least a little careful. A nerf was needed, definitely, though this feels maybe a little bit too much. Eh... we'll see.
